Now that looks WILD and wonderful!!!!
I had pumpkin & banana overnight oats and Hot Cinnamon Spice tea 🙂 It was perfection!
Kerry says
As always your breakfast looks delicious!
Laura @ Sprint 2 the Table says
I am so glad I waited to eat breakfast… I needed some inspiration today as I was about to have a boring bowl of cereal. PB and pumpkin are such a delicious combo.
Sarah says
Not related to your breakfast but a GH question for you. The GH near me doesn’t sell half the neat sandwiches you guys do, can I ask them to sell some of your options or are sandwiches store specific?
KathEats says
Yeah, we designed our own menu based on our community and personal preferences for a more gourmet sandwich. Most of them are all roast beef and chicken salad. You are certainly welcome to ask – we will share the recipes.

I love that wild bowl! The contents of the bowl look even better! 🙂 That is my favorite mug to drink coffee out of! Of course mine has an “H” on it though.

Love yogurt bowls! Especially with granola…..perfect mix of creamy and crunchy!
Krissy @ Shiawase Life says
Yay for K!
Maria @ Sinfully Nutritious says
Hemp Plus Granola is so good. I just bout Ancient Grains at Costco, that is really good granola too.
KathEats says
LOVE the Ancient Grains! Wish I could get it anywhere
Maria @ Sinfully Nutritious says
Me too. There is something I hate about going to bulk stores. Although, because it’s so close, I find myself there more often than I want to be. I wish I had a Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s closer. They are both a hike, so I end up there once a month. I don’t know if my wallet wants them any closer! 🙂
Hannah @ eat, drink and save money says
Awesome bowl! Quick question: is wild squirrel much different than nutella?
KathEats says
In taste? It’s very different. There isn’t hazelnut in it and it’s much more like a peanut butter than a fluffy dessert
Hannah @ eat, drink and save money says
Thanks! My hubby loves nutella, but it is sometimes too much for me. I will have to try it.
Julie H. of Spinach and Sprinkles says
Perfect start to a wonderful day!! 🙂
Athena @ Fitness & Feta says

Beth says
Birthday cake tea?? What is this delicious sounding beverage you speak of?
(Currently obsessed with Celestial Seasoning’s Nutcracker Sweet holiday tea. Dying to try Sugar Cookie Sleigh Ride but can’t find it anywhere near me – but the Nutcracker/Gingerbread Spice are my favorites)
KathEats says
It’s from Adagio: http://www.adagio.com/signature_blend/blend.html?blend=1581
Beth says
Will definitely have to try this. Any other recommendations?
Dimple Snatcher says
Hi Kath,
I wanted to ask: are you breakfasts as sugar heavy as they seem? I would never think to put sugar butters on my breakfasts, as it doesn’t seem healthy to me and more appropriate for dessert. Thanks!
KathEats says
Not really? The only sugar comes from the banana, and the Wild Squirrel is hardly a sugar butter – there are only 3 grams of sugar per 2 tbsp. I used 1 tbsp, so that’s 1.5 grams.
Dimple Snatcher says
Thank you so much for answering, Kath. I think I’m too hard on myself…a little sugar is good 🙂
Katie @ Talk Less, Say More says
What a great start to your day. Have an awesome one! 🙂

KathEats says
It’s from Homegoods!
Anna Resman says
Yum! How do you prepare your buckwheat groats?
KathEats says
They were raw – they are like grapenuts
Lauren @ Oatmeal after Spinning says
I had that Anthro mug in my hand to buy this weekend, but resisted. I already own 1,000,000 mugs. 🙁
I clicked on the Wild Squirrel link and wonder: have you tried the Pretzel Pizazz flavor? I am thinking that I might have to buy that as a gift for my stepdad, because he LOVES the pretzel-pb combo. Just wondering if the pretzel flavor or texture really comes though..
KathEats says
The nuggets of preztel are big and delicious, but the nut butter itself doesn’t taste like a pretzel. I liked it a lot though! It’s thicker than the others.
Angela @ Eat Spin Run Repeat says
That is such a cool bowl!! I love the zebra stripes.

Looks wonderful!!
Stellina @ My Yogurt Addiction says
I can never get my breakfast to look that good! yum!
Lexi @ A Spoonful of Sunshine says
Sometimes, I find that mixing pumpkin and yogurt gives things a weird aftertaste, but this looks so delicious that I might just have to try it again!
KathEats says
I can kinda understand what you mean about aftertaste. It is a bit…gourdy
Rebecca says
yum yum yum. Almost every breakfast of mine lately has included banana, pumpkin, and sunflower butter. Heavenly threesome! Is the buckwheat raw or do you toast it some?
KathEats says
I’m pretty sure this was raw from the bulk bins
Gabrielle says
I have recently started reading your blog. I love it! It reflects my own lifestyle and food choices. I love oats, yogurt, peanut butter, banana, and pumpkin too. Thanks for your commitment to your blog, I can tell it takes a lot of work. I appreciate your dedication.

I had yogurt mixed with pumpkin for breakfast this morning too! Except I topped it off with *more* pumpkin by adding a pumpkin muffin. Your breakfast looks fabulous! 😀
Jessica @ The Process of Healing says
What a crazy (but delicious!) yogurt mess!
jk says
I have a most likely dumb question …..are the buckwheat groats on your oatmeal
raw or cooked? I feel certain I should know the answer as to whether you can eat them either
way…but I don’t. I need something new to add to my oatmeal in the mornings and yours
always looks so good.
KathEats says
Not dumb at all! They are raw, from the bulk bins. Like grapenuts in texture
Susan H. @ the food allergy chronicles says
Perfect bowl for Wild and Wacky Wednesday! Love all the grains in your breakfast…the buckwheat grouts are a nice addition…I will have to try it now I found some…loving the chia seeds crunch in my morning breakfast mash!

I misread your post title at first. I thought you titled it “With Child” and I kept reading to see if you had some special announcement. Then I realized you wrote “Wild Child.” Ha. 🙂 Your breakfast looks great.

You’re the third person to tell me that 🙂
