I didn’t see your morning post in my Google Reader at all ๐ Your lunch looks yummy! I always end up packing more than I know I’ll eat during the day – because I never know what snacks I’ll want. I am working on no longer doing this, though, and just packing what will fuel me and keep me satisfied until dinner time ๐
Pat Kilmain says
No, my Google reader never picked up this post or this mornings either….

Or favorite restaurants that aren’t too expensive? I used to go up to Charlotte a lot but I haven’ t been in a while. thanks!!

Good job on the presentation. You probably burned a ton of calories between the run and all the presentation and showing the house adrenaline jitters. Eat up!

Raspberry!? I always loved that in plain yogurt as a kid–the Chobani texture + that flavor must be fantastic!
Melissa says
My husband and I are OBSESSED with Chobani. We pretty much find any excuse to put it on food, but I never see it in anyone’s blogs. I just assumed it was a NY thing since the product is made here. Best prices and best flavor!! ๐
stephanie says
hi kath-
i’m wondering how much you (estimate) you have increased your caloric intake now that youre logging a lot more mileage with your training, and if you have lost weight or maintained as a result. i know you follow intuitive eating and therefore probably just assume the extra mileage would rev your hunger and make you eat more naturally, but i’m just curious. thanks!
stephanie
Kath says
Well you’re right that I believe in intuitive eating. Also the Squiggly Line Effect. I’m focusing more on eating to fuel each individual workout and eating a recovery meal that provides balance rather than worrying about how many calories I’m taking in. I do think I have a delayed response – 2-3 days later I’m hungrier, so I’m eating than rather than eating ice cream on my long run days because I “can”
Simply Life says
glad to hear things went well!
Karla says
I see you eat tempeh sandwiches with jam a lot. For some reason tempeh scares me. I made it once in enchiladas and it was tasty. I also had it once at Moosewood and that was delicious! But for some reason raw tempeh scares me! Is this an irrational fear?
Kath says
YES!
Lauren @ eater not a runner says
Love your lunch! Delicious ๐
Heather @ Health, Happiness, and Hope says
