In dough!!!
Not really standing in the dough though, just clean hands
I’ve been busy shaping bunny parts all morning and didn’t have much of a chance for a formal breakfast, so I had a few pieces of breakfast items to tide me until I could sit down for a slice of hot Honey Whole Wheat!
Maple Pecan Scuffin + Lemon Blackberry Muffin
Healthy whole wheat with Naturally Nutty Cinnamon Vanilla Sunflower Butter! Plus a cup of coffee!
On my way in at 7, I stopped by the farmer’s market to see Ellen + Matt on their first day! I felt like a mom with kids on their way to kindergarten taking their picture and feeling proud. So excited to be part of the market this year!
The poor bunnies can’t WAIT to get out of their bags and into homes!
Back to it!
Cait's Plate says
Aw those little bunnies! I can’t wait for them to escape! They look sad in there!
Congrats on such a productive morning and good luck with bunny sales today – I have a feeling they’ll sell like hotcakes 😉
Caroline @ After Dinner Dance says
Outdoors farmer’s market definitely means spring is here!
Allie@LiveLaughEat says
Congrats on your farmer’s market debut! You are tempting me with that nat nutty. I’m going to have to order it offline #addicted
Angel7 says
Hopefully, they sell everything at the Farmer’s Market 🙂
The sun is out here, but cold outside. I hope it is nice like yesterday! The sun was out yesterday, but the wind was cold. As long as the wind did not blow, it was kind of nice.

Laura @ Sprint 2 the Table says
That is a LOT of bread! Do you ever get sick of it? I think I could eat it all day, every day. 🙂
KathEats says
Sometimes…certain flavors 🙂
Ashley @ Eat, Sleep, and Breathe It says
That pumpkin chocolate chip loaf looks so good right now! Those bunnies are so cute.
Molly@RDexposed says
I’m not thinking about adding Great Harvest to my to do list.
KathEats says
I hope that “not” was supposed to read “now” 🙂
Molly@RDexposed says
Ha! Yep. iPhone autocorrect strikes again.
Kat @ Balance & Spice says
Those bunnies are absolutely adorable. I would love one as a pet. Except a bread pet might be a touch awkward. But, they are indeed that cute.
Miranda @ Working Mom Works Out says
Oh my! the bread bunnies are the CUTEST.
Jen says
Love how one of you employers snuck in that last shot 🙂 Did you worry/consider avoiding certain foods during pregnancy because of increased chances of allergies? I think Caitlin is avoiding gluten even more carefully.
KathEats says
Nope, I’ll cross that bridge if it’s necessary. There’s no reason to avoid gluten for allergy reasons. Caitlin is because she has been diagnosed as sensitive herself.
Alex says
I’m a little bit addicted to being on the blog and in pictures… Shhhh its a secret though.
Jen says
🙂 celebrity!
Heidi Bundles Of Hugs says
Everything looks delicious! I’ll take one of each 🙂
Angela @ Eat Spin Run Repeat says
I know I’ve said it before, but the bunnies are so adorable!! I hope they’re hopping off the table today! 😉 (Cheeeeeeee-zy but I don’t care!)

That’s so exciting that you guys have a farmers market stand! I would totally be the same way (all mom-like) 🙂 Enjoy your day.. and eat another Lemon Blackberry Muffin for me… those sound divine!
Jeri says
I see I am going to make to make a day trip to the Farmer’s Market in C’ville. We don’t really have a good one in Va Beach. We have farm to table stands, but nothing where you get the bread, or jams, butters or Bunnies.
Becca says
I just posted that we need a good farmer’s market in Va Beach 🙂 great minds think alike!
Jeri says
Yes, they do. I say, the old HQ parking lot on Independence and VA Beach Blvd would make a great place for the Spring Summer and Fall. Maybe I’ll go to a Council meeting one day and make that suggestion.
Katie @ Peace Love & Oats says
Those bunnies are too cute! Have a great time baking today!
Becca says
I love outdoor farmers markets! Virginia Beach is kind of lacking in that dept 🙂 I love the sound of the lemon blackberry muffin! YUM!!
Fran@ Broken Cookies Don't Count says
Blackberry Lemon muffins…Yum!!

Stephanie @ Legally Blinde says
That’s really exciting that Great Harvest is at a farmers market!! I can’t wait to start going to farmers markets around here. The lemon poppy seed blackberry muffin sounds divine. I’m pretty sure I could never handle working at a bakery without eating everything in sight 🙂
jojo says
It all looks amazing! I Hope you guys do well with the bread stand!
Emily @LivingLongfellow says
Hopefully this busy day means you and your crew get tomorrow off to enjoy the holidays!
Chelsea @ Designs on Dinner says
I wish it was Farmer’s Market time in Wisconsin—all those breads look divine! I can’t believe I haven’t tried a scuffin yet; what a genius invention.
Jeri says
I’ve looked at the GH website. Do you guys have your own website and if so, do you guys do orders so that we who don’t live in C’ville can order some Lemon Blackberry Muffins too?
KathEats says
We are at http://www.greatharvestcville.com. Unfortunately we don’t ship muffins at this time though 🙁 But come visit us!
Michelle (Better with Berries) says
It’s a good thing I don’t work at a bakery – I don’t think there’d be much left to sell.
Björg says
Scuffin?? Lol
I went to the DOwntown market today and boight some vegetables and zucchini bread yummy!
They just began the downtown market again, sooo exciting! :]
Susan H. @ The Food Allergy Chronicles says
All your breads look so delish! I would have a hard time picking a favourite!
Mary Frances says
I’m sure the truck sure came in handy with hauling the bread, baked goods, tables, table cloths, tent, bread racks, cookie display case, baskets, chalk board, bags, cutting board, knives, wax paper, literature/coupons?, etc. needed to set up for the farmer’s market. They will probably be the first to sell out for the day! It would be interesting to hear how they made out.
Simply Life says
wow! looks so fun! congrats on selling out!
Nikki says
Oh, that all looks amazing… even more so as I am still suffering through an allergy elimination diet with no yeast or oats, or wheat! I think I almost drooled when looking at it all! I would love to see a non-bagged bunny! They look so cute!
dee says
how awesome that you guys are the market now. everything sure does look great! one day i’ll make it to a GH for a taste! 🙂
