Hey all! Testing out my iPhone blogging capabilities 🙂
It looks like KERF crashed yesterday because I moved from my new shared server to my new private server and it messed up my post settings with Windows Live Writer and where the photos uploaded. Knock on wood, but that should be the last of the horrors of this past week!
Well, except for this bumper to bumper traffic on I-95. Guf. It’s added at least 2 hours to our 6 hour drive.
I’ve got an official post in the works but I thought you’d like to see my delicious mid-traffic lunch of Greek yogurt with crumbled Larabar, almonds and apricots and a kiwi from Monica, who I ran with this morning! Mom and I also got some sodas for the drive. Car trips are one of the few occasions when I approve of them 😉
Guess I don’t know how to rotate photos!?

I love diet sodas on road trips! Diet Dr. Pepper is a good choice too. Sounds like a good lunch, hopefully traffic starts picking up soon!!

the more I see that iPhones can do, the more I’m convinced there’s very little they can’t do!
And I love Diet Dr Pepper-I don’t like the taste of normal diet Coke or Pepsi, but Dr Pepper is pretty yummy.
Amanda says
I feel for you in that traffic! 95 is awful!! Hope it moves better for you soon 🙂

I’m glad you’re doing well, Kath! I haven’t commented much at all lately, but I’m still reading your blog daily. Are you planning on seeing Julie & Julia? I saw it with my mom yesterday and definintely thought of you! It’s a sweet and funny movie that I think you’d enjoy. =]
Angie says
Seriously, there are just some times when you NEED a diet Dr. Pepper!
Hope your drive gets better!
Heather @ Health, Happiness, and Hope says
Yikes, bumper to bumper traffic is never a fun experience. At least you have some deliciuos food to keep you happy. Haha, don’t know if I should mention this, but be careful how much you drink during traffic jams… it can be killer to have to hold it in for hours. Talking from experience here. 😉
Emily (A Nutritionist Eats) says
There is something about driving and soda!!! Not sure what it is!
Andrea@WellnessNotes says
iPhones are sooo cool… I want one… 😉
Hope you are not stuck in traffic for too long!
Christie @ Quit Your Diet says
Yikes, sorry about the traffic! Travel safe!
Rebecca says
Haha blogging in traffic! I love it!
Kristen says
Safe travels! I have a similar rule about sodas and driving long distances!!!

Look for the Rotator app for your iPhone. You can take a photo any way and rotate it and it saves directly to your camera roll for use. I highly recommend it. Even better? It’s FREE!
Nicole says
Mmm…that yogurt looks great. And it’s really amazing what can be done with an I-phone!
Greta says
If you are new to iPhone here’s a great NY Times article that came out about some of the best (and, er, most unique..) apps out there:

Pam (Highway to Health) says
Ugh! Traffic is the worst but it looks like you had some good treats to hold you over!
Alison says
I’ve never commented here before, but I live outside of DC and have experienced many, many, MANY traffic jams on
I-95; I feel your pain. I enjoy your blog so very much and am tickled that you allow diet sodas on car trips. I wish I could limit my intake like that….
Again, I’m so glad that I stumbled upon your blog.
Ruth says
Nothing like a road trip without a dr. pepper! Hope ur weekend is going well!
Leianna says
Diet Dr. Pepper sometimes just hits the spot, especially a long road trip!
Deva says
Diet Dr. Pepper sounds so good right now, and bumper-to-bumper traffic is NEVER fun.
Hallie (Healthy Twists) says
Wow…that’s impressive that you could type all that on that tiny keyboard! I have an iPod touch and while I love it, I am so upgrading to the real deal as soon as I can 😀
