I’m sharing my top 10 favorite Beautycounter products in this post to give you ideas of what to order. 

Now that I’m 40, I’ve certainly leveled up my skincare game.

I love sharing about Beautycounter because not only do I stand behind their mission, their unparalleled safety standards amongst the beauty industry, and commitment to transparency when it comes to the ingredients in personal care products, but the products are honestly the most high-performing I have ever used.

I went from not using any skincare products consistently to adopting a regular regimen that combats the signs of aging (i.e. fine lines and wrinkles) without the use of retinol. My favorite Beautycounter products are listed below.

My Top 10 Favorite Beautycounter Products

Whether you’re a minimalist when it comes to your morning makeup routine or you’re brand new to the safer side of skincare, this list of my all-time favorite Beautycounter products has something for you. 

1. Countertime Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream

I think having a really nice night cream has made a bigger difference in my skin’s hydration than any other product. I absolutely LOVE this one! It’s super thick and rich,  like whipped butter, and I can still feel it on my face in the morning – a nod to how well hydrated it keeps my skin overnight.

What’s inside: Bakuchiol has been shown to provide results that are comparable to retinol—without harmful side effects such as skin irritation and increased sun sensitivity—and Swiss Alpine rose boosts the skin’s antioxidant defense. And tetrapeptide helps increase skin elasticity, minimize the appearance of lines, boost visible firmness, and smooth skin’s surface.

This night cream combined with the Overnight Peel (see #2) is a great place to start; with these two products you’ll see and feel a difference.

2. Overnight Resurfacing Peel

If you purchase one skin care product, let this be it! This is the Beautycounter gateway product for many people! And it’s one of the favorite Beautycounter products of beauty awards too. It also just got a makeover of its own in a new aqua bottle. 

Don’t be fooled by the name – you don’t actually peel when you use this, and you don’t wash it off. It’s more of a serum/safer brightener that helps lines and dark spots fade, improves dullness, minimizes pores, and is great for all skin types.

I think it’s made the biggest difference in combating signs of aging. It smooths texture most of all! With glycolic, malic, and botanically derived lactic acid, the acid formula clears away dull surface cells, while arginine and essential fatty acids help soothe and soften.

This was after using a complete Beautycounter regimen for just THREE WEEKS back in April 2019. I credit the Peel for a lot of the difference – it’s like a new surface.

3. All Bright C Serum

This is the daytime friend of the fan favorite Overnight Resurfacing Peel, and it’s designed to brighten and even skin tone.

Not only does it work to fade brown spots and hyperpigmentation, but it actually inhibits melanin synthesis to prevent dark spots from appearing.

Vitamin C can degrade quickly in beauty products, and Beautycounter worked for years to develop this combination of two forms of vitamin C in a super stable formulation that delivers visible results. It’s my go-to daytime serum. In addition to vitamin C, turmeric and camu camu act as defensive antioxidants as you move through your day of environmental stressors. 

4. Countertime Mineral Boost Hydrating Essence

This is my favorite product of the entire Countertime collection! I’ve always had a love for toners, and this is seriously the best toner I’ve ever tried. 

Although it’s not technically a toner – it’s an essence that “lends vital nutrients to the skin’s moisture barrier instantly boosting hydration and radiance.”

It’s just thick enough that when you sprinkle it into your hands, it doesn’t fall through your fingers, making it easy to pat on your face after cleansing. 

It’s like a drink of water for your skin. If you have dry skin like me your face is thirsty as hell getting out of the shower, and this is your ice-cold drink of water to deliver much-needed moisture.

5. Melting Body Balm

This rich, luxurious body balm smells like coconut and pineapple had a baby with a Monoi flower scent. It looks like a thick balm, and then melts into skin as a nourishing oil.

I am obsessed with using this on my upper arms, which get extra-dry in winter, and I get whiffs of it all day! I also put it on my hands and cuticles at bedtime. It lives on my night stand. 

The scent alone was enough to hook me, but it delivers bonus benefits as a hand cream, lip balm, baby balm and more. 

6. Beyond Gloss

I’m a gloss girl and Beautycounter’s glosses do not disappoint.

They’re ultra-shiny (never sticky), have a light vanilla scent from responsibly-sourced organic vanilla, and the teardrop applicator picks up the perfect amount of gloss.

Layer over your favorite lipstick, or wear alone – you can’t go wrong! I have one in every area of my life: desk, purse, car.

7. The Clean Deo

Looking for a clean deodorant? The brand new Beautycounter Clean Deo is effective, smells great, is free of aluminum, and comes in a refillable package to minimize plastic waste.

My favorite scent is the Fresh Coconut. Plus, it really works – I’ve put it through the ultimate sweat test many times over.

• Coconut oil and shea butter: natural emollients rich in essential fatty acids and nutrients to help skin feel hydrated and help it go on smooth.

8. Think Big Mascara

This is honestly the best clean mascara I’ve ever used! It’s both lengthening and volumizing and is jet black.

9. Dew Skin Tinted Moisturizer

This is perfect for those of us who are no-fuss. It’s a moisturizer with light coverage and SPF all in one. If you hate the feeling of foundation or fear the caked-on foundation look, this product was made for you! The shades are sheer and forgiving, so it’s not hard to pick one out. 

This is what I wear every day and I don’t leave the house without it on. Since it feels like a lightweight lotion, I can throw it on anywhere when I’m running around.

I love that it has the SPF built in so the application is super quick and easy when I’m chasing the kids around outside or out on a walk.

10. Countersun Daily Sheer Defense Face Sunscreen

This fast-absorbing, lightweight sunscreen layers seamlessly over your daily moisturizer and under makeup. It provides protection from UVA, UVB, and blue light rays, without a chalky white cast.

I am obsessed with this face sunscreen – I keep one in both my makeup organizer for everyday and soccer bag when there is no shade in sight.

We also love the sunscreen mist for family beach days – it really is the best non-greasy zinc sunscreen ever.

If you use those big “cloud of chemicals” spray sunscreen bottles (I used to) this is a great replacement for that.

I am obsessed with the new perfumes that weren’t out when I originally wrote this post. 

Beautycounter products have boosted my skin in all the best ways.

After Birch was born my pregnancy and postpartum uneven skin was insane. While hopefully those spots would have faded over time, having a solid skincare regimen has helped to speed up that process. My skin not only looks better but it feels better too.
