Here is part I of our birthday week recap, including 10.26 and a stay at The Inn at Stinson Vineyards!
The Inn At Stinson Vineyards + Bday Recap
Birthday Month Concludes
I have two recap posts for you this week – one from 10.26 and one for Birchie’s birthday and Halloween. Birthday month concludes today with my dad’s birthday! Happy Bday Clifford!! (Total October bdays: 2 nieces, my sister, T’s brother, a handful of friends, 3 toddler friends, me, Birch…and then my dad on November 1!)
10.26
My birthday was low key since we had Stinson Vineyards planned for the following day. I worked in the morning, did a live Peloton ride at noon, and spent the afternoon doing fall activities with the boys: carving pumpkins and jumping in leaf piles.

Caked Up!
Then Norkeita arrived with the cake! Loved her color choice and golden glitz.
Inside was coconut cake and passionfruit and all of my buttercream dreams. These are Caked Up Cville’s mini cakes, but they feed a LOT. We had plenty to share with mom and dad when they arrived the next day.
Blue Apron Fontina Chicken, Parm Zucchini and Garlic Bread

The Inn At Stinson Vineyards
On Wednesday, my parents arrived! They offered us a night away, so of course we jumped on a Wednesday night Staycation!
We went to the Inn At Stinson Vineyards which is only about 20 minutes from our house. But it felt like we were in another state with gorgeous mountain views and vines.
Inside of the Inn
The inn has only four rooms and is very posh inside! It’s also super booked – you have to book far out or come on a Wednesday like we did! We stayed in the Blush room, which was cozy and romantic.
Happy Hour
What a view! There is also a pool to enjoy when staying at the inn during warmer months. On my bucket list! One bummer was that the Stinson Vineyards tasting room was closed, so we didn’t get to visit.
Dinner with Chef Tyler
An add-on to your stay is a private dinner with Chef Tyler. (Note some days are excluded.) You have a choice between a more formal Wine Cellar Dinner with a wine pairing or a more casual Chef’s Supper with shared plates and a flight of Stinson Vineyards wines. We chose the latter, and it was absolutely perfect!
Our Menu
We loved everything, especially the salad!
Bed & Breakfast
Breakfast was three courses and included in our stay. It was lovely!!
Scrambled Eggs, Prosciutto, Pesto
Self-Serve Wine Bar
We brought home a bottle of Cab Franc!
We can’t wait to go back!
Stay tuned for all the 3-year-old’s celebrations next!

I’ve tried several times to get a room there and like you said, it’s always booked! Looks like a wonderful stay!

I am tempted to book one for October 2022 now!
