We have so much to be thankful for this year.
Mazen and I just returned from a visit to my grandmother and family in Towson, Maryland.
We took the train, which was really fun! Of course, he loved it.
Especially the ability to get up and move without his car seat.
Gram is doing great and says hello! She is teaching a class on homemade pop-up cards soon and served us champagne in antique glasses.
Maze loved Gram’s antique dollhouse, which is a replica of the actual house in Mt. Gretna where her family vacationed. The dollhouse was built by my great-great grandfather!
Mazen also loved playing “Hickory Dickory Dock” with Grammie! Gram bought him some wind-up mice that looked so real.
Uncle Chris always makes a great Manhattan!
And smoked salmon and cheese are my favorite holiday appetizers : )
My sister joined us for the trip, and her Matt met us for dinner one night. The three of us went out for drinks after, and it was great to see Matt if only for a few hours.
The ends of champagne + Chambord cocktails
I enjoyed reading all of your comments about your Thanksgiving plans on my giveaway post! Hope everyone has a lovely holiday, whether you are with family, traveling, caring for others at work or stuffed silly already.
Cheers!

Mt Gretna Pa? We live near there and my mother spent summers there as a child. We love swimming in the lake, playing mini golf and the Jigger Shop!!
