I haven’t done a Stitch Fix post in a while, but I’ve gotten some great fixes in the mean time! Here are some of my favorite keeps.
This necklace, which I wear all the time! It’s so delicate and classic and goes with everything! For Stitch Fix peeps, it’s the Bridgette Hammered Circle Necklace.
The Brentwood Tiered Striped Tank Top I’m wearing with it has been another favorite for the summer. My favorite kind of clothes are comfortable and casual with a little bit of style to jazz them up. This tank is the perfect example of that – I love the l layered fabric and crisscross design. It’s super comfy, great for hot days and goes with everything.
This Cliff Graphic Print Roll-Tab Henley Knit Shirt came in the same box, and I love it as well. It also is super comfortable and casual but the print is fun and different. I also love the 3/4 sleeves that can roll up or down for spring, summer or fall.
Zoom in on the print!
This is the Filbert 3/4 Sleeve Popover Blouse, and I love it when I want to get a wee bit dressed up. I’ve worn it a few times to business meetings this summer with a skirt.
This dress has been one of my favorite pieces ever! I am normally way too short for maxi dresses, and they often have low-cut necklines and spaghetti straps, making them not very practical for chasing around a toddler.
This one is everything I would want in a long dress – stretchy, flowy, and full coverage up top. Also – perfect length for this 5’2” gal!
I put in a request to Stitch Fix for a cross-body bag after I saw the one Meghann got. (Yes, you can make requests!) This purse has been fab – it’s the perfect size for running errands and date nights. It can fit my DSLR, wallet, and phone with room for more. It’s the Kacie Half Flap Crossbody Bag.
I love the lining…
When I took the Kamile Jersey Ruched Detail Dress out of the box, I was sad – it didn’t look like it would fit. But then I put it on and BAM – we had a keep. I love the ruching on the ribs and bust, and like the blue dress above, the neckline and straps are great for a bra-wearing woman like me
I’ve already worn it 3 times this summer! The Clarissa Lace & Crochet Detail Cotton Tank was something that was unlike anything else I had in my closet. I wouldn’t have picked it up off a rack, but I love it on, so it was a keep. Also goes with everything and perfect for summer!
Recognize this from wine country?! It’s the Samira Colorblock Striped Dress. I love the gray and neutral and that I can cinch the waist to my size. (Don’t mind my hair – I had come from the pool!)
This Downing Striped Knit Shirt, while quite casual, was a keep because I know it is something I’ll wear over and over and over again this fall! UVA colors too!
A Few Returns That Were Almost Keeps…
There are some things that were not even worthy of a photo, but here are a few items I almost kept and didn’t:
This top, which was just a little too small. My stomach was revealed if I lifted my arms above my head. I loved the colors and shape though!!
This shirt with a really cute bird pattern was just too droopy
And this top that did nothing for my figure despite the fact that I loved the pattern.
If you’ve tried Stitch Fix, what has been your favorite item to date?

Love all the clothes! I am dying to know about the turquoise necklace! I have been looking for something like that. It looks great with everything! Thanks!

Anele @ Success Along the Weigh says
The stuff they send you is always so you…I don’t know, you? LOL I agree with the returns too though they are still very pretty. But you look good in anything so, there’s that.
Have a great weekend!
Michelle @ A Healthy Mrs says
That black dress is perfection! 🙂
Rebecca @ Strength and Sunshine says
Love the graphic print top and the black dress!
Simple Green Moms says
OMG I totally want that maxi dress! I am also 5’2 and agree it can be a struggle!!!
Sally says
I received that bag in a fix a couple of months ago and almost kept it – now I wish I did! Love Stitch Fix, it is such a fun service.
Amy says
I thought you had to return a whole box if you wanted to do a return. Did I misunderstand?
KathEats says
No you only return what you don’t want to buy. Golden Tote you have to return all or nothing.
Amy says
Ohh ok thank you! I have looked into both and must have mixed them up! Will look back into stitch fix! 🙂
Melanie says
All SO cute, Kath! I’ve been loving StitchFix since May and I learned about it here first! If you don’t mind me asking, how much was your bag? I’m in desperate need for a fall/winter purse and have some specific requests for one — but not sure what kind of price point they cover for bags?
Thanks!
Melanie
KathEats says
It was $48 : )
Emma says
You look SO slim!!
Hillary B says
My favorite item was a pair of gold diamond-flecked disc earrings. I wear them almost every day!!! Can’t wait for the next fix!
erin says
the bright neon sandals. where from?!
KathEats says
They’re target!
Alex @ True Femme says
I really love the keeps! Especially the necklace, cross body bag, and dresses! They look great on you! I’ve been really into delicate looking jewelry lately instead of big statement pieces. It’s fun to switch it up!
jacklyn says
I love those sandals with the neon strap!! Where are those from? 🙂
KathEats says
Target!
Chelsea @ Designs on Dinner says
I don’t get Stitch Fix, but I LOVE looking at all the different items bloggers get. So fun! Too bad that pinky-orange tank was too short–I love it on you!
Christina says
Hi Kath. OT question: Can you recommend any particular wine tour of the Charlottesville area? We want to make a weekend away from DC and were thinking of going to Charlottesville and joining a wine tour of the VA area. Let me know, thanks!!
KathEats says
My favorite trio is Jefferson, Trump and Blenheim. Other favorites are Pippin Hill, Pollak and Veritas!
Christina says
Thank you 🙂
Carolyn says
Love all the clothes! They all look great on you. Lol about spaghetti straps and low cut dresses not being practical with toddlers. I feel like that’s all I wear in the summer! Maybe I should re-think that. lol
Jeri says
I really like the first top you returned. I don’t like anything that may expose too much.
s/n: Do you feel the need to sweep your house daily because of the wood floors? I find that I need too but it’s because of the dogs. I love carpet, because of the feel on my feet, but don’t want it because of fleas. And when you do sweep what is the best thing you would recommend? Thanks
KathEats says
I vacuum every few days but not daily
Lauren says
Love the clothes! I also love all of your shorts, they fit perfectly. Where are they from? I have the hardest time finding shorts that aren’t either way too short or too long.
KathEats says
They’re all loft and Gap
Hillary | Nutrition Nut on the Run says
love the necklace and purse… also love all the stripes!
Mary says
Cute stuff Kath!
Have you tried on maxi dresses in LOFT? I am 5’1 and their petite maxi dresses fit me perfectly, no hemming required!
KathEats says
I haven’t!
joelle (on a pink typewriter) says
I love Stitch Fix! This summer, they sent me a maxi dress and I was nervous about pulling it off (I’m 5′), and now I totally regret having returned it. They’re so cute!
Jessica Campbell says
the striped tank in your first photo – I have the same one except in a really pretty blue! You might really like it.
I also love this aztec dress they sent me – aztec print on the bottom but navy on the top. Super comfy!
Cilla says
I am sorry Stitch Fix doesn`t send boxes to Europe 🙁
Candice says
Your legs look awesome! #jealous
Ella says
I was thinking this too!! Nice stems! Haha
Shel@PeachyPalate says
They have you quite sussed! Faves are the black dress and the striped maxi. LOVE the necklace too, so delicate.
Christina says
Love the items you kept! I had the worst luck with Stich Fix. After five “fixes”, I finally quit. They kept sending things that I would NEVER wear. The $20 fees were too much considering I returned the majority of the fixes without keeping anything.
KathEats says
I’ve heard requesting a new stylist is the way to get around a handful of fixes that just aren’t you. I have Layla and clearly love her!
Ashley @ Saving Money in your Twenties says
I love everything you kept- super cute! I’m trying to save moolah so I don’t think I would ever sign up for stitch fix but I do love the idea behind it!! good way to find new items to build out your wardrobe!
Hannah @ CleanEatingVeggieGirl says
I LOVE that gray striped dress!! It is so pretty!
Meghan says
I’ve never heard of Stich fix before your post, but I’m really curious. I would have loved all of those items you kept, can you request a stylist or do you get given one at random. I feel like i”m a style rut and this maybe the best way to fix it.
I love the necklace, I tried to google it but can’t find it, do you know where its from?
Also, one more question what about things that don’t fit right, is there a way to exchange items for different sizes?
Thanks so much,
Meghan
KathEats says
Hi Meghan,
I think you are assigned a stylist, but none of them are bad! I think it’s just a matter of finding someone who gets you.
do you mean my teal and gold necklace? It’s from Girl’s Day Out on Etsy.
You can’t exchange items – if it doesn’t fit you don’t pay for it and send it back. But one time I loved something that just didn’t fit and got it in another size the next month!
Meghan says
Thanks Kath for all the info on how the process works.
I was actually asking about the gold hammered necklace. I googled it but couldn’t find a reference, do you know where its sold?
Thanks again,
Meghan
KathEats says
I believe it’s a Stitch Fix exclusive
Ashley says
I really loved a top I got once in my box but it was too tight, so I emailed them, and they had me return it, and then they sent me a larger size!
carrie says
I love all of your choices. You have a killer bod by the way.
Laura says
So I think I got the exact same maxi dress and I am surprised because I am 5’6″ and literally had to have it taken up six inches!!! I was seriously baffled as to what sort of amazon woman it would fit! Even with heels it was insanely long. Now that I see yours I wonder if it comes in different lengths and they gave me the wrong one by accident or something. I loved it so much I kept it obviously and paid a tailor to have it hemmed.
KathEats says
Haha. It must come in different lengths
Anna says
I know you said to not mind your hair in two of the pics because you’d come from the pool but I think you hair looks *Amazing* in those photos! Pulling it back really suits your face and it looked a lot better with the clothes than just hair down. You should try it more often!
Amy says
Any advice for making Sweet potato fries? I tried to make some the other day and they just got super mushy 🙁
KathEats says
A cooling rack will help elevate them and using a good amount of oil
Eva says
you look great kath!!! nice toned legs 😉
Julie says
Hi Kath, it´s been such a long time since you wrote a post about your bakery. I would love to see how things are going 🙂
Lisa @bitesforbabies says
Cute stuff!! Can I also say that I love how you are taking selfies with an old-school camera, lol! I need to do that…seeing as I am incapable of taking selfies on my phone-for real! lol!
Sara says
That’s not an old-school camera — it’s a DSLR!
Leah says
It seems you’ve really gotten your money’s worth! Anything that you kept but didn’t end up wearing? I randomly remember that you got some white skinny jeans, not sure if you’ve shown them.
Stephanie says
I got the Filbert 3/4 Sleeve Popover Blouse in turquoise! I love it! Perfect for pairing with skinny jeans and boots for dressing up this fall. I had the same problem with maxi dresses, I’m too short for how long they typically make them! Where is the short girl love?
Bobbie says
My favorite stitch fix item has been a pair of capri jeans by the brand Dear John. They just fit well and I’ve worn them so much this summer. I just requested a full length pair of jeans in that brand for my next fix. Hoping they carry them!
Kathy says
I know this post is about the clothes but your legs! So fit!
Katie @ A Full Plate says
Wow, those are all great! I especially love the necklace…that is right up my alley. I’m petite and the “big, chunky” jewelry trend just doesn’t quite work for me. I prefer delicate jewelry when it comes to necklaces. Have you ever heard of dogeared jewelry? You should check them out…love love love their stuff!
