^^ That’s just what’s going on in my office this afternoon. I am afraid of SO many kinds of bugs (Palmetto bugs, camel crickets, spiders) but for some reason stink bugs don’t scare me. I’ll pick them up alive to throw them back outside! There is one that is playing hide and seek on my computer and lamp. He must be new to the house because he’s extra active. I’ll have to take him on a trip outside soon.
Breakfast today was scrambled eggs, toast with raspberry-rhubarb Jam (According to Daniel!), and some strawberries. I have to heat up my berries because my teeth are so sensitive. There’s nothing worse than biting into something ice cold! Ahhh!
M and I went to the gym this morning for strength class. Lots ‘O fun.
For lunch I had half of M’s PB&J, which explains why this lunch looks so small. It was the last of my tofu salad with a little extra cheese.
We’ve been having lots of picnics on the deck in our sunny, warm weather.
That have required lots of dish washing afterwards ; )
And lastly, we saw an amazing double rainbow a few nights ago!
Survivor tonight – get excited!!!
Erin @ Her Heartland Soul says
I hate bugs! Hate hate hate!!
Ashley Saul says
What a great picture of the double rainbow!
Melissa says
Wow, what a beautiful rainbow! I’m definitely with you on the stink bugs and bugs in general, I’m not a fan of bugs at all!
Ella says
OK I went to vote on the Survivor Second Chance thing and was quite annoyed to find that when I clicked on each player’s headshot, there was no link to their bios or anything! I need a little refresher! I love that you nerd out to Survivor, too 🙂
KathEats says
There are videos! Did you watch those? They should refresh your memory with clips from the old seasons : )
Amanda says
The other day, some sort of non-harmful bug flew into the car while we were pulling out of the driveway. I screamed, put the car in park, and jumped out. Yet I’m also not afraid of stinkbugs, lol.
Cassie says
Lucky! Double rainbows are breathtaking!
Tracy @ dirtyeating.com says
I’m not afraid of stinkbugs themselves, but I am afraid that I’ll accidentally crush them and get the smell all over myself. I always end up scooping them up with a piece of paper and holding it far, far away from me while I carefully walk out of the house.
KathEats says
I have never smelled the stink!
Jenny says
WHAT?????? How have you managed that?
KathEats says
I have no idea!!
lynn @ the actor's diet says
I got so excited when I saw the double rainbow pic in my Instagram feed – and then I realized you’re not in LA and I couldn’t see it for myself!
Linda @ TheFitty says
They say a soy ke rainbiw is as lucky as finding a four leaf clover. 🙂
Livi @ Eat, Pray, Work It Out says
That La Croix looks so delicious !
Emily @ Life on Food says
Do stink bugs stink? I never smell anything, alive or dead? I think it is something someone made up a long time ago.
KathEats says
hahahah. Only once when one died in my shower (and probably went down the drain) did I smell anything. Matt says he can smell them a lot!
Tonya says
Everytime I see a stink bug in my office I flip out, scream like a banshee, my boss runs upstairs to rescue me from the bug, and I set the women’s movement back 50 years.
Jaime says
Are you for real about heating your berries to avoid biting into something cold?! What do you do when you eat all your ice cream sandwiches?? I get having sensitive teeth, but I have never heard of “selective” sensitivity….
KathEats says
Ice cream melts! It’s cold things I have to bite through in the back that are the worst.
beth says
Your scrambled eggs always look so good. How, exactly, do you make them? Mine always look like broken omelets. Thanks.

Here’s a video!!
