These smoked salmon sliders are our favorites to bring to summer parties. They are so quick to make and a crowd-pleasing healthy choice with cucumbers and peppers inside.
Who doesn’t enjoy a nice mid-week soirée? On Tuesday night I hosted a little patio party for a handful of friends. I spruced up the outdoor furniture, put tablecloths on the tables, and put candles out.
And of course, put drinks on ice!
Since the party started after dinner hour, I put out some nibbles for anyone who was in a snacking mood. Cheese, crackers, chips, and these smoked salmon sliders.
Smoked Salmon Sliders
These little guys couldn’t be easier to make. There’s no cooking – just a wee bit of assembly.
Begin by softening your goat cheese in the microwave for about 30 seconds – just enough to soften it to spreadable consistency. Do not over nuke! Slice the cucumber and chop up the dill.
For each slider, spread goat cheese on the top and sprinkle with capers and dill.
On the bottom, layer salmon and cucumber slices.
Repeat for all 12 rolls, and have yourself a party!

Hi Kath!
I LOVE your blog. It’s been a daily read for years. Thank you for sharing great content and information.
Is there a preferred brand of smoked wild salmon that you could recommend? I just got on the “Smoked Salmon Train”, but have never purchased it to eat at home.
Thank you!
Laurie

I always get the Whole Foods brand wild sockeye because it’s the cheapest, but anything with wild caught in the name is good!

Thank you! The salmon sliders are going to happen in my very near future. 🙂

Why no photoss of your “friends”? It seems like you are dating someone. Why be so coy about everything?
KathEats says
That would be a lot of food, alcohol and set-up for only two people! Here’s a photo of the first three guests that I just didn’t include in the post (wanted to focus on the recipe): https://www.katheats.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Foodblog-8-of-14.jpg

Haha, why do people care if she is dating someone? If she is, perhaps she’s not ready to make it public …

Yum, the sliders look delish! What a great idea. I may try them with cream cheese instead of goat.

Those look like they would also be tasty served on mini bagels!
