I love that this ended with pics from Downton Abbey and Bachelor Juan Pablo! I chose Downton for last night, although I went to bed with half an hour left. It’s fun to have some good shows recorded to enjoy in the evenings again.

My daughter is the same age as M and will NOT let me read to her. She tears the books out of my hands and throws them. Any tips? 🙂

Aw sadness. I’m not really sure what to say? Maybe sit her in a high chair or other chair out of arm’s reach and try reading to her in there?

A couple months ago I feel like Mazen wasn’t too interested in reading – he didn’t react quite so strongly but he just didn’t want to sit still very much. I guess we just kept trying and eventually he came around. As with many things in child-rearing, I don’t really remember! It was frustrating though, because I really wanted to read to him.

Kevin & I recently started watching Downton Abbey as a rec from a friend (and realized we could watch on Amazon Prime!). We are HOOKED! We just started episode 1 of season 3 last night. So good!

Haha, I love the last picture – I’m a huge fan of Downton Abbey and also pretty addicted to The Bachelor. Juan Pablo didn’t really stand out to me during Desiree’s season (wish Brooks were the new Bachelor… ow ow) but I’m still excited to watch this season. Looks like you had a really great weekend.
