Who is ready to get in the holiday spirit!!?
I know I am not the only one who gets a little woozy thinking about all the holiday shopping I have to do this holiday season. Births. Weddings. Our family just keeps on growing! Giving gifts is a joy, but shopping for them can become a tornado of coupons, reusable bags and wrapping paper.
As I prepare my shopping list this year, I am hoping to find the perfect blend of thoughtful gifts and online deals:
For Mazen I plan on going to our local toy store and shopping with my eyes and hands.
For Matt I know of a few practical things he needs and will want to shop around to find the best deals on them.
For my Sister: We decided to give each other beauty products (and she got me some great ones last year!)
For my Mom I’ve been squirreling away trinkets throughout the year.
For my Dad: Beers and wines have been popular in the past.
For Karen: She loves experiences and food!
For my out-of-town family: Photo gifts of Mazen keep him close to their hearts.
Chippmunk offered to sponsor a post on KERF to spread the word about their unique system of sorting through the deals and coupons online – just in time for Black Friday & Cyber Monday. You know when you’re ready to buy something online and do a quick search for “X website + free shipping or coupon code” only to be disappointed by the confusing websites and expired codes? Chippmunk promises never to lead you to a dead end!
Chippmunk organizes and ranks online coupons according to how much you can save. All of their coupons are updated daily, tested and work. And they are from stores you love, including Lululemon, Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, World Market and Pottery Barn.
What makes the site unique is that you can filter your search based on your budget, shipping speed, free shipping, coupon code amounts and more. When you click on one store you’ll also see competitor deals, so you’ll save yourself from clicking your mouse around the web comparing prices.
To win a gift card worth $100 that you can use at ANY of the Chippmunk stores, enter below! Coupon open to US only please, and the giveaway will run until midnight on Cyber Monday.
This post is brought to you by Chippmunk. I have no incentive for you to shop at Chippmunk – just sharing a helpful site!

My shopping is nearly done (well, kind of) my parents are done which was the big one and something I know they really want as they’ve been hinting about it for WEEKS. My sister on the other hand is stumping me so I’ll have to give it some thought and then see if I can find the right gift at the right price point.

I will check out this website now! I have started my shopping but am nowhere near finished.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I’ve never heard of this site! It will be helpful as I plan on doing as much shopping online as I can this year. Avoid the crowds and have more time to do seasonal activities like ice skating, looking at lights and drinking hot chocolate!

I do so much of my shopping online that this website might really help me out!

I have never heard of Chippmunk, but am excited to cehck them out! I despise the endless spiral of the web trying to track down deals and coupons–yet always get buyers remorse if I feel I overpaid.

This is a really interesting concept, Kath. Thanks for sharing! I am still trying to wrap up my shopping and living far from most of my family, gift cards seem to be my go-to. Happy Thanksgiving!
Janelle says
Oh man, I still have to do ALL of my Christmas shopping yet. I’m trying to not think about it until after Thanksgiving, but then I know December will go fast.

What a great idea! So helpful during this hectic time of year! 🙂

Sounds like a great site. Thanks for sharing. I just have a question about the fact that you said the post is sponsored by Chipmunk but at the end you say you have no incentive to share. That’s confusing to me. Is there something I am missing in how sponsorship works?

I don’t make any commission for you to shop through the site.

Think I’m nearly there with my shopping. Just a couple more things to get. This will be super useful. Thanks!

Hi Kath! Have you heard of Uncommon Goods? I got their catalog for the first time this year and they have some very cute/unique gift ideas and each one supports a good cause. I’ve never bought from them, but as I read this post I thought you might like it:-)

I have heard of them – cute stuff indeed!
