This self-care holiday gift guide has everything from comfy athleisure and cozy slippers to therapeutic body tools, non-toxic bath scrubs, and more! This post contains affiliate links.
‘Tis the season to give more good.
To treat those in your life with something special.
While admittedly the holiday season can get overboard and materialist beyond measure, I personally enjoy the act and thoughtfulness of giving gifts to show appreciation for the special people in my life.
I like gifts that are useful and feed the soul.
As someone who is profoundly interested in all things health, wellness, and self-care, I enjoying giving gifts that give others some TLC – a gift they wouldn’t necessarily purchase for themselves or something that will feed their soul.
This self-care gift guide was created with hygge (a word in Danish and Norwegian that describes a mood of coziness and “comfortable conviviality” with feelings of wellness and contentment), health, comfort, movement, and restoration in mind.
TIP: If you’re shopping online today, shop through Rakuten and earn cash back on a gazillion stores plus a $40 bonus if it’s your first order. I only learned about this recently when people were sharing the $20-30 cash back they were getting on their Beautycounter orders after shopping with me!
Self-Care Holiday Gift Guide
Fitness
Hypervolt – This therapeutic massage tool has been a game changer for both me and Thomas for everything from a tight neck and shoulders to sore legs and my foot arch after soccer games.
Peloton Bike Accessories – If you know a Peloton person (we all do!), Peloton accessories like this fleece lined waffle headband make stuffing stockings easy!
Functional Belt Bag – I love my Lululemon belt bag. While the original style is harder to snag these days, Lululemon has several similar options that are stylish and, most importantly, functional. It’s the perfect size for your phone and keys for either the gym or a concert night out when you want to be hands-free.
Apple Watch – I just upgraded to the Series 8 and love it. I’ve worn my Apple watch every day for years! The movement trackers and fitness settings are motivating, and the productivity of the timers, weather, text, and more are so convenient.
Lululemon Slides – These slides look incredibly comfy. I’d like a pair as house shoes!
Lululemon Release & Recover Ball Set – These would make a great stocking stuffer for any athletes in your life.
Hoka Sneakers – Insanely comfortable and what the cool kids are wearing these days, Hoka sneakers make a great gift for your running aficionados.
Packable Puffer Jacket – This cute puffer jacket comes in so many bright colors! It’s great to throw on after workouts or for chilly winter walks.
Yoga Class Punch Card – Drop a punch card to a local yoga studio in their stocking!
Nourishment
Athletic Brewing Beer (25-35% off!) – While you might not want to give this to a bro who loves his real IPAs, if you know someone who loves Dry January, this is a great way to support that choice. Get 10% off your first order with the code KATHEATS. The Cerveza Athletica and Run Wild IPA are both amazing.
Harry & David Apples & Pears – This gift can be for anyone and everyone. Harry & David pears are always a favorite winter gift for our teachers.
Nourishing Recipe Book – You could pair with a beautiful set of bamboo utensils for the foodies in your life.
Caraway Minis and Food Storage – Caraway Home is 20% off and they have lots of new things, including mini pots and pan perfect for scrambled eggs.
Farmer’s Market or Farm Share Gift Certificate – Stop by your local farmer’s market or farm share and grab a gift certificate. It always feels good to shop local.
Bath & Body
Beautycounter Sugar Scrub & Body Butter Set – This limited-edition set comes in my most favorite intoxicating tropical monoi scent. Both the scrub and body butter are entirely luxurious. This scrub and body butter are perfect for all ages and all skin types, and are universally loved!
Beautiful Bath Towels – Pair a set of beautiful towels, like these, with the Beautycounter set above!
Primally Pure Home Collection – Complete with a hand soap, room spray, and oil diffuser blend, this is a (non-toxic) gift for the senses.
Massage or Spa Gift Certificate – A gift certificate for a massage, facial, or pedicure is my favorite type of gift to receive. It’s the ultimate TLC!
Hygge & Cozy Time
Athleta Cozy Wool Beanie – Can never go wrong with a simple beanie to stuff in a stocking. This Tahoe style is a classic.
Cute Candle – Cozy time isn’t complete without a crackling candle. I’ve been enjoying these handmade candles, introduced to me by my VA Hillary.
Live Plant – Nowadays you can ship just about anything, including living plants! I have given and received plants from The Sill, and they are always a fresh favorite.
Vuori Joggers – These ranked at top when I crowdsourced KERF readers about their favorite athletic pants. They are insanely soft and flattering. Buy a pair for yourself, too!
Boll & Branch Sheets – This luxe sheet set is a best-seller. If you know someone wishing for better sleep on their Christmas list, these buttery, breathable, softer with every wash sheets are a great gift.
Lake Pajamas – I was “influenced” to try Lake pajamas, and can honestly say I’m obsessed! They are dreamy soft, and not clingy. I love the tank with pants set.
Birkenstock Slippers – I love my Birkenstock sandals during the summer, but these shearling clogs look cute and comfortable.
Hatch Restore Alarm Clock – I love the idea of waking up “with the sun.” This device is a reading light, sound machine and time-to-rise indicator all in one. And – bonus – everything is customizable from a simple, free app on your phone.

The towel set is a great idea! I would also recommend Turkish towels from Jennifer’s Hamam (www.jennifershamam.com)–beautiful, high-quality towels made by artisan weavers. Just putting in a plug because I love them!
