There’s just nothin’ like butterscotch
Especially when it’s sticky, buttery and spreadable from a jar!
OOIANJ
[Overnight oats in a Nutty’s Jar!]
The Mix
- Nutty’s Butterscotch residue
- 1/3 cup oats
- 2/3 cup milk [went with all milk instead of half yogurt and liked it – although it was much runnier!]
- 1+ tbsp chia seeds (lots of cold gelly ballz in there today!)
- Half banana
- Pinch salt
- Ancient Grains granola on top
Shenandoah Joe’s make the day robust !
I’m off to visit a winery this morning to discuss partnership opportunities!
Which means it’s time to shower and get dressed before 9AM!
Showering has been exceptionally pleasant these past few days since I opened up a bar of goat’s milk soap – Tangerine – Bergamot by Whiff Whims – that Rod at the Marsh Harbor Inn on Bald Head Island gave me at Christmastime. The scent is simply lovely.
Happy Birthday Meghann !!!

Jenny (Fit Girl Foodie) says
Wow butterscotch pb looks amazing! Btw is there a purpose of adding chia seeds to overnight oats or regular stove top oats? I keep seeing them added in overnight oats and I wasn’t sure if they made the oats fluffier

I would LOVE to get my hands on that peanut butterscotch (i really love butterscotch). Do you know the nutritional information for the butters? I’m on WW and need to calculate the points for the Butterscotch (total fat, carbs, protein, fiber). I would appreciate it. Thanks!
~Kandi

I don’t have the nutritionals online, but they are comparable to most other peanut butters.

Your description of oats in a jar make me want to give it a try again. I’m kinda on the fence if I like oats in a jar?
Kat @ Cupcake Kat says
How do you go through so many jars of nut butters? It seems that you make OIAJ pretty often. I can only do it once every couple of months and I think I eat a lot
KathEats says
I opened this jar right after Christmas! It takes us a couple of weeks to eat through them.
Namaste Gurl says
I haven’t had OIAJ in forever! In fact, I have an empty cashew butter jar screaming to be used and cleaned. Thanks for reminding me 🙂
