We had a simply gorgeous weekend of unusually warm temps near 70 degrees! Sure didn’t feel much like Christmas except there were Santas everywhere I looked on Saturday night ; )
Friday we had some friends over for pizza and Cards Against Humanity. Fun times! I also made a big massaged pesto kale salad. So simple and it was a big hit!
Saturday morning I made a parfait with strawberry chia pudding (Juice Laundry!), blackberries, banana and granola. Delish!
Mazen and I played around the house all morning and then when Matt came home I went out to run a few errands, including getting an almond butter and fruit smoothie for lunch from Integral Yoga. Sipped to the tune of some Taylor Swift!
I ordered some linen stockings from Etsy and they arrived on Saturday afternoon – SO excited to have a fireplace again! I’m putting together a Christmas decor details post, so stay tuned for that 🙂
Saturday evening I went to a workout class at ACAC for a Christmas-themed happy hour. Then we caravanned over to the Collins household for a big SantaCon party!!
Here were just some of the Santas on the early side of the party! Everyone was required to wear a costume and those who showed up without one were provided with one. It was HILARIOUS to walk into every room and see 10 Santas chatting away.
I had some version of Mrs. Claus (found my apron at Pier 1) and Matt went as Athletic Santa. He actually ran to the party!
Highlight of the night was when MC’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” played and all the Santas sang!
Sunday morning we had eggs, fruit and toast
Mazen and I stayed in our jammies till noon! We watched Elf and made a castle of legos. When we finally got dressed, we went to Whole Foods for lunch at grocery shopping.
Hot bar specials + kale caesar salad
Sunday night I had a small mug of chili and then went to my friend Alice’s house for Christmas Cocktails get together with a bunch of our friends.
Merry merry Monday!
