Totally delicious and fun to eat!
Sunflower buttah on top
No idea what’s in store for today other than sunshine and probably a little commercial and halftime watching this evening : ) I couldn’t care less about the
football! [The only sport I care about is Duke basketball… and the Olympics!]
Katy (The Singing Runner) says
Looks delicious! And looks super pretty in the jar. 😉
Have a fantastic Sunday and enjoy the sunshine! 🙂
Amanda (Eating Up) says
That mosaic table totally reminds me of spring! If only.

Alana says
Great looking breakfast! I’m making homemade granola for the first time this morning. I hope it tastes as good as it smells. Have a good Sunday, feel free to cheer for the Packers tonight 🙂
Emily @ One Sweet Vegan says
I’m with you on the commercial and half-time watching!
foodandfarm says
Agreed. Who is doing half time? I did find the truffle oil! They had it at feast, but it was cheaper at oil and vinegar on barracks!
Sophie says
I think it’s the Black Eyed Peas? I know that’ll probably the only part of the game that I actually watch!
Camille says
That looks awesome! I think you have inspired me to have a parfait for lunch 🙂
I feel the same way about the Super Bowl. Unless I am at a party, then I am all about the food. 🙂
Holly @ Couch Potato Athlete says
Yes I plan to check in with the game a few times today, although if I end up missing the whole game I don’t really care 🙂
The parfait looks lovely, it makes me wish summer was almost here!
AJ @ Flowing to Fifty says
I already had breakfast, but I might have to go back for a snack after seeing your parfait! I’m not a football fan, but I do love the commercials. Have you seen the Volkswagon/Darth Vadar commercial? Awwwwwww………
Barbara6020 says

Emily @ Savory and Savage says
I usually have the parfaits with berries – but the apple and banana combo looks delicious.
Puppy bowl and the commercials are the only reason to watch the Superbowl 🙂
lynn @ the actor's diet says
i love eating out of mason jars
Caitlyn (A Spoonful of Life) says
I’m the same way with football…*yawn*! Half time commercials are the best part.
Parfait looks scrumptious!
Sarah @ goingongoals says
Peanut Butter is a parfait?!?! I love that idea! I will have to try it.
Katelyn @ Chef Katelyn says
Totally fine, I dated a football player and eventually figured out how it worked, but I fell asleep during one of his games, aka I felt terrible but what can I say, football is boring! All I know is that the Steelers are playing today, and that I will be watching the superbowl commercials on Hulu in lieu of watching them in between bouts of sweaty men throwing themselves at each other:)
Amy at TheSceneFromMe says
I am looking forward to the commercials and BEP performing at halftime of the game tonight too. Since my favorite team isn’t in the Superbowl, I don’t really care if I watch the game.
Love that green spoon and your colorful parfait!
Joy says
Holy crap, that looks delicious. Are you sure you don’t want to give up the franchise and come be my personal chef? 😉
Hillary [Nutrition Nut on the Run] says
For some reason, I feel like your photos are extra amazing lately. Doing anything different?
KathEats says
Maybe a few new editing tricks 🙂
Stacie @ Imperfectly Healthy says
I don’t care much for football either. But I’m still rooting for the Steelers because I lived in Pittsburgh for three years!
Christine @ Merf In Progress says
I would make such a huge mess if I tried to eat that!!!

Lauren at KeepItSweet says
What a pretty breakfast!
Kiran says
Ahh! Gimme that parfait, now 😀 Looks delish! We’ve been in the States for a few years now, but never been intrigue (until lately) for Superbowl. Gotta watch tonight to see what’s the fuss all about 😀
Natalia - a side of simple says
I’m thinking you just might have to add KERF parfaits to the GH menu! Served in mason jars, of course 🙂
stacey-healthylife says
The super bowl really doesn’t wow me either. I just like the commercials, half time, and FOOD.
Lyn says
That looks delish! I think it would be even better if instead of cereal it was layered with hot oatmeal!
Heather says
I love parfaits but tend to eat them a lot in the summer when fruits are more abundant.
I will probably skip the superbowl as well – I’m not the biggest football fan!
Katie says
omg parfait heaven in a jar! This is seriously the BEST parfait I have ever layed my little eyes on! I so need to make one like this! I love the jar you used!

I couldn’t care less about football either. I’m going to watch the game this year though since this it’s my last year to live in the US. Should be fun!
Chelsea @ One Healthy Munchkin says
You’re lucky you have such a long spoon that can reach into that jar! Whenever I make parfaits, I get frustrated with trying to eat them and just end up pouring them out into a bowl. 😛

I bet the green apple and PB were great together!
Lindsey says
I don’t really care about football- I’m in it for the parties and the food 🙂 I saw a preview of some commercials this morning and they looked good!

Christin@purplebirdblog says
Looks delicious!! Green apples aren’t my favorite flavor, but they are so pretty!

Your photography has only been getting more beautiful… the higher contrast, intense saturated colors, and sharp compositions make your blog even THAT much more enjoyable to read.. very nice, Kath. I can tell more time and energy is spent… and thank you for that… just gorgeous.
KathEats says
Thank you!
Kara says
I’m all about the commercials too! I read blogs or a magazine when the football is on 🙂
Brenda says
I tried sardines today and unfortunately, I’m NOT a fan. I was soooo grossed out eating them. Way too fishy!
