We are having THE MOST GORGEOUS summer day!!!! It’s cool and breezy and like Autumn out there!! For this reason, I chose to pack my whole day in a bag and walk 3 miles to work.
The packing list
- Gazpacho for 2 (in a jar)
- Spoon
- Lunch (in a glass container)
- Fork
- Giant camera
- Wallet
- Phone
- Bakery clothes (socks, undergarments, shirt, shorts)
- Dress for tonight
- Shoes for tonight
- Different undergarments for tonight
- Shower gear
- Makeup
- Jewelry
- Keys
- Ice water bottle
- Sunscreen (on!)
- Sunglasses (on!)
- Visor (on!)
- Real Simple (in hands!)
The walk was wonderful, but my shoulders were tired despite wearing all the straps on my backpack!
At Body Pump, I packed it all on!! I really liked the new release music!! 3 awesome modern pop songs.
I was starving when I came home! No surprise.
I dug into leftover millet salad mixed with some leftover chicken and sweet potatoes. Tasted SO good !!!
Dessert was a spoonful of our latest Naturally Nutty shipment: CHOCOLATE SUNFLOWER butter!!! It’s amazing!!
Matt and I are headed to UPS to ship these packages out. Then back to prepare for tonight. Whew!!

Also – I texted my sister this morning to say “It feels like Fall outside!” It really does and it made me super excited for Fall. I love summer but Fall is by far my favorite season.
Well done on the packing job – I’m impressed your shoulders didn’t fall off 😉
Sarah for Real says
Awe you’re accidentally referring to the Bakery as “home” already. That’s a very good sign! I think…
Aine @ Something to Chew Over says
I love walking everywhere! That looks like a great bag.
Chocolate sunflower butter eh? Lucky you 🙂
Holly @ The Runny Egg says
Great job packing all of that stuff with you! I remember in college how much my back and shoulders would hurt from hauling all of my big heavy books around campus. Although now that I type that, I kind of miss it!
Freya (Brit Chick Runs) says
How on earth did you fit all that in one bag!? Heck, you are GOOD!
Courtney @ The Granola Chronicles says

Chocolate sunflower butter sounds amazing! I’m impressed you were able to fit that long list of items all in that back pack!
Laura @ Cookies vs. Carrots says
Lugging all of that stuff around probably was a pretty good workout in itself! What a great way to enjoy the beautiful weather!
Ash @ Good Taste Healthy Me says
It definitely is GLORIOUS outside. So rather than hitting the gym after work I’m going to walk to the library and back…about 3 miles all around. Good enough for today!
Keelie says
This looks like my day every day! 🙂 I live in NYC and walk/ bus/ subway everywhere, and once I’m out of my apartment, I usually won’t get a chance to return until the end of the day, so I pack it all up and bring it with! 🙂
Eileen says
That is an impressive packing job! I used to have to pack bags like that all the time when I lived in Chicago, for my daily commute downtown (30 min on the train and about a mile of walking each way). I think your 3 mile walk in this gorgeous weather sounds much more pleasant though!
Foodie says
Leftovers are the best!
Casey says
Chocolate sunflower butter sounds amazing!!
Krissy @ Shiawase Life says
Depending on how often you’ll be sending stuff out, you might want to consider a UPS account to have the delivery person come to you!
KathEats says
The problem was in the boxes. We didn’t have any nor did we want to estimate how many we needed by pre-buying them
Krissy @ Shiawase Life says
ah totally makes sense!!! once you know which ones you want though, you can order supplies as part of your account. depends on the size though I guess!! 🙂 the USPS ones are free.
Janet says
The only thing with that is that UPS charges for pickups. It can be pricey if you do not ship a lot. Better off packing the boxes yourself then taking them to a UPS drop off to send out. A UPS account could save you some time. If you have a scale available you can weigh the packages and print the labels at the bakery. Then all you have to do is drop them off somewhere UPS picks up. Uline is a good source for packaging.
Sara R. says
I did the new Bodypump release for the first time today and I really like it too, especially the biceps track! Although I don’t know how you went walking around with all that in your backpack after all those squats and lunges, my legs feel like jelly right now! Good for you!
KathEats says
Biceps was my favorite song!!
Hillary says
You guys must be having similar weather to us here in Maryland—I walked out of my house this morning and my first thought was, “It feels like FALL!” Loving it while it lasts ; )

choc sunbutter?
I make my own chocolate coconut cashew butter. I have a recipe for it. It’s actually very similar to the nut butter I use to coat my kale for chocolate coconut kale chips. Pretty much chocolate + nut butter is right up my alley. And SFSButter is my fave nut butter 🙂
Molly @ RDexposed says
I am confident that if I had put on the loaded back pack I would have fallen over.
It’s happened before!
