I had two calls this morning (one short, one long) and found myself cleaning baseboards and the panels of our stairs in between. Because the baby is going to spend so much time on the stairs, ya know : ) You would not believe how dirty our banister was! I also spackled a few holes (including a major one Matt put in the wall when he slipped while carrying the pressure cooker down the stairs!) and wiped dirt off of walls. How do walls get so dirty!? This was totally one of those “once you start…” sessions where I just kept finding more and more dirt….
I lost my window of time for a gym lifting session due to call #2, so instead I did the easiest workout in the world: a 30 minute walk.
Baby was happy!
For lunch we had a No Bull Burger topped with tomato, cheese and condiments.
If you’re wondering how I managed to eat this the answer is with 3 napkins – one for my chest, one for my bump and one for my hands!
Some leftover potatoes and cantaloupe on the side!
Have a great afternoon!

Hahhaaha I love you and your use of napkins. Better safe than sorry!

No Bull are the best! 😀

I had a beef burger today, which I haven’t had in a long time, and I really prefer vegetarian or turkey burgers these days! They have so much more flavor (in my opinion).

You are definitely in a deep nesting mode. 🙂 Last week I started cleaning the baseboards in our bathroom (after I already cleaned the tub, toilet, sinks, and mirrors). One thing led to another and before I knew it, I was half way into our bedroom. Let it be known I am not pregnant, but I understand the ‘once you start, you can’t stop’.
I suppose my ‘nesting’ is gearing up for my DI when I know there will be minimal time to deep clean!

Your baby bump looks amazing! I hope you are enjoying your preganncy.

That burger looks seriously amazing. Especially with those tomatoes!
Averie @ Averie Cooks says
every single time you post a No Bull burger, I want one – and I don’t even like burgers but they look so good!
Rachel says
awww too cute! You would probably hate to see my room.. it’s in need of a dusting lol
Angela @ Eat Spin Run Repeat says
Wow, you are one very handy (wo)man with the spackling! The walls in my basement entry way are pretty filthy.. I think it’s from bashing into them with grocery bags while trying to haul them up the stairs! Cleaning walls is definitely not one of my favourite things to do, but I guess you can look at it as a workout (your second of the day!)

I have a silly question…..I haven’t figured out how to just defrost 1 of the no bull burgers because of the way they are packaged…I love them and would eat them more if I didn’t have to defrost them all at once without defrosting all 4 of them?
KathEats says
I cut the pack in half and defrost 2 at a time
Ann says
Yum lunch, Kath! And I also just read your post from last night … I’m not a huge meat eater – give me a no-bull burger 9 times out of 10 … but that real beef burger you had is making me salivate!! MMM!
And yes, it’s crazy that, once you’ve cleaned the baseboards, you realize how dirty they were – and you hadn’t really noticed before!! The whole house looks so CLEAN after you’ve wiped them down!
Annette @FitnessPerks says
I always use like 5 napkins at meals with burgers…I am a messy eater! Hah.

Nesting, nesting, nesting…:)
Ali @ Peaches and Football says
We don’t have No Bull burgers in town but they look delicious! Way to rock the house cleaning – once the baby arrives the last thing you’ll want to do is wash baseboards. Better to get as much done now as you can. And yes, the more you start to clean the more dirt you find. Sometimes I think it’s better to not even start. 🙂

Lunch looks delicious! I haven’t had very much cantaloupe this summer and it’s one of my favorite fruits. Putting it on my grocery list now!
Sarah (The Simple Dietitian) says
Haha…very strategic planning with the napkins. 😉
And a lovely looking lunch! 😀
Ellen @ Wannabe Health Nut says
I’m so impressed by your cleaning spree! And even MORE impressed with that lunch—YUM!

I have never had a no bull burger but it looks amazing! I guess I’ll have to have some shipped to me.
Andrea @ The Skinny Chronicles says
I am pretty sure you get major exercise points for all that cleaning and dusting!
Katie @ Peace Love & Oats says
Haha nesting in full force! Delicious looking lunch too!
Andrea says
Mmm you’re making me want cantaloupe!
Lexi @ You, Me, & A World to See says
Mmm I had watermelon the other day, but ‘loupe sounds great!
Heather McCann says
I have to 2nd Averie! That burger has got me craving!!! Wow
And you definitely get exercise points doing all that bending and scrubbing and bending and scrubbing…!

The majority of our walls are the eggshell paint color that they were when we purchased the house brand new many years ago. So, you cannot really see much dirt unless people put dirty hands on the wall, cob webs are there, or dirt is there over time. The walls need cleaned, but being pregnant, it is too overwhelming to conquer!

Haha, what a great use of napkins! I would need that many too, and I don’t even have a baby bump.
