Reunited and it feels tastes so good.
Pumpkin Coach’s Oats! Made with chia seeds, milk, water, cinnamon, spice, Cville Cluster, Sunbutter and BUTTERNUT butter that our friend Benji at Twin Oaks made! Tastes like sweet potato casserole : )
Pepperminty tea
And a dash of home sweet home. So glad to be here again!

Hi Kath,
I have been reading your blog for a really long time and just love it. I have a few questions for you about Swept Away Negril. My husband and I are thinking about going there in February. We have been to a few all-inclusives and not exactly loved them (the food is always just “ok” and the beer is usually warm, there are no upgraded alcohol drinks and sometimes the other couples are super annoying…we stayed at one in Mexico and the guests were having beer chugging contests daily, which was fun when we were 20) However, your reviews make me willing to give this one a try. I love that you have reviewed it so well. It’s been very helpful for us 😉
If there is anything else you want to tell me, could you email me? BTW, we are turning 41 this month and have kids ages 10,9,6 and 2. Is the resort an adults ONLY? That was the one thing, we really want….but we’re really looking forward to being away from all the nuttiness.
Thanks a ton! Love the blog:)
AmyW.
KathEats says
Hey Amy,
The resort had many more couples than big groups of people partying wild. I saw very few super drunk people. I’m pretty sure the resort is adults only, but right next door there was a Beaches just crawling with kids having a blast – it looked really nice, but I don’t know about the food or drinks there.
Maria @ Sinfully Nutritious says
I may have to make a tiny version this for a snack later. Today, I am all about the vegetables. I can’t believe how much more energy I have when I have veggies for breakfast. I am looking forward to this as my post workout re-fuel. Have a wonderful day. Glad you are back.

Are you planning to watch the Rose Parade today or is that a california tradition only? Have a great day 🙂
KathEats says
Does that have to do with the Rose Bowl? Football? I haven’t a clue 🙂
tiffany says
Its at the rose bowl! Its a new years tradition…a lot of companies decorate floats using flowers and many marching bands come to play. Lots of fun!
here’s a link if you want to take a look at the floats. They were all so beautiful! 🙂

Butternut butter?! Looks like I’m going to have to try that one out in the vitamix later! Well, it might be delicata butter instead- I have a bunch leftover from last night that is roasted. 🙂
I always forget how easy it is to make squash/apple butter.
PS- I forget to check that I’m “human” every time!
Paulina (One Smile Ahead) says
I had a similar breakfast this morning! Pumpkin oatmeal always rocks 😀 Butternut butter sounds really interesting. I’ve tried kabocha butter, but pumpkin has a special place in my heart.
