Another chipper day!! My breakfast was great today and so was my workout. Nothing better to put a girl in a good mood! Unfortunately, our internet is down at home and that’s where my breakfast pictures are….you’ll have wait and see the breakfast later!
Pre-workout: Kashi waffle and jam
Workout: Stairmaster, quick treadmill run, upper body lifting: 450 calories!
Breakfast:
Oatmeal made with skim, banana, toasted walnuts and peanut butter on a spoon (which I do to get a little in each bite – if you mix it in it gets lost in the oats!). Would have been better with brown sugar too, but I was trying to keep this from being a HUGE calorie breakfast. It really hit the spot on my palate today. I think sometimes I make my oatmeal too sweet so it’s not as satisfying (and feels too much like an indulgence).
This breakfast made me so happy because all the ingredients were super healthy. I love eating walnuts because of their Superfood status. And oats, banana, cinnamon, natural PB – all are super healthy!!!
With Butterscotch Toffee Coffee!!
Total breakfast calories: ~530

Oooh…your oatmeal looks delicious! I'm still addicted to the Diva pancakes…but I'm starting to get more interested in eating oatmeal as well b/c of all the mix-ins you can combine! 🙂 Have a great Wednesday! -Meg-

Great idea with the PB! I never thought of having PB with oatmeal, but it sounds sooooo good. Too bad I can't really keep it in the house (too tempting), hmm may have to try it again though!
