We’re here!! Between my bed and the airplane I got about 8 hours of sleep so I’m ready to rock n roll. Somehow hunger held off until we got to our hotel at 8:30am and went on a hunt for anything-but-Starbucks. We had planned in eating our Dakota bun, banana and PB sandwiches on the plane but the flight was too short! (and I was sleeping 😉 ). So we waited until we could settle into a coffee shop and really enjoy them. For a few blocks I didn’t think we’d find something open but I spotted the word “organic” and found the PERFECT coffee shop!
With breakfast and a cappuccino in me, were ready to explore this city on foot. We’ve got a museum in mind and a hot lunch date!
Back after lunch with a real post and legitimate photos 😉

Sounds like you are having fun already!! I can’t wait to see pictures! I love NYC. I have family that lives in NY so we travel there sometimes. I’d kill to live in the city (and have the money to live comfortably haha)!

You should get into New York pretty early. Hope you get to see a show? We live in New York State and get to the City only about once a year, if that. What a shame you weren’t coming Upstate. If ever…call! 🙂 Although “cow country” certainly isn’t as fun as the city.
Hope you have a great time – can’t wait to read about it. Are you going to go for a run around Central Park?

I’ve always wanted more time in New York. So much to see! If you get a chance to see the cloisters they are pretty cool. Although I’m sure the gardens aren’t very exciting right now.
