Big news from the family! My sister, Laura, and her other half Matt, are expecting a baby this October! We are all very excited to welcome a new little person to the family this fall.
In honor of her first Mother’s Day, I arranged for Laura to receive a dose of the Stitch Fix maternity line and share it with you guys here on KERF. Here are the pieces she received with her feedback:
Blair Open Drape Cardigan – I love this, and I would have never picked it out for myself. The spring greens are bright, and it’s warm enough for chilly nights in the yard.
Markley Maternity Blouse – I like the style and fit of this top. It’s definitely a piece I would grow into!
Ivanovo Maternity Blouse – Although a little too flowy, I really like this top and the fact that it doesn’t look like a typical maternity shirt. I can see myself wearing it until my due date. I ultimately decided not to keep it though, because I have a lot of black already.
Mira Maternity Skinny Jean – I love the color and fit of these jeans, and they aren’t something you’d imagine would be included in a maternity line. However, they are a little snug so I contacted Stitch Fix and am hoping to exchange them for the next size up!
Mason Two Tone Tote – This bag was cute (and was roomy enough to be a diaper bag!), but I have a similar one, and what I really need right now is clothes!
Kath here! In honor of Mother’s Day, from May 2nd to May 8th, Stitch Fix is giving away a style trip to San Francisco to one lucky winner (and the person who mom-inates her!) The two of you will get to visit the Stitch Fix HQ, attend a styling session (you get to keep the clothes!) and model in a photoshoot.
Here’s How It Works:
Enter your full name and email in this entry form found on the Stitch Fix Facebook page along with a story telling us about the most important woman in your life. Whether she’s your mom, aunt, sister, teacher or best friend, she should support you through life’s successes and setbacks with unconditional love. Share your entry on Facebook and Twitter and encourage friends and family to vote for you. More votes will increase your chances of getting picked!
Stitch Fix will select its favorite story and contact the winners via email on May 9th, 2016.
Stitch Fix also has beautiful physical gift cards that you can order for Mother’s Day or all the holidays beyond it. (Or if you’re in a pinch, you can buy a print-at-home gift card too, for the procrastinators : ) )
Happy (early) Mother’s Day to you all!

When I saw your first paragraph, I was confused…”Laura?” I realized you always call her “Larbs” and didn’t know what her actual name was, ha ha! Love this Stitch Fix review of her maternity clothes. What a great gift. 🙂

Congrats to your sister! I am also pregnant with my first, due in September, and had debated trying stitch fix maternity. I have a very small bump though, so I don’t feel like I need a lot of maternity clothes yet, but I am getting to that point when my normal clothes are getting too snug, espcially jeans!
Ps, it’s been great to look back at baby kerf at your weekly posts as well as items you loved to add to my registry, now that I’m expecting!!
