Good afternoon friends!! I survived another Pump Challenge class this morning. It felt good to be back in the gym – it had been a week! I’m doing lots of walking these days, which just makes me happiest. The good thing is walking with a baby is probably the easiest form of exercise as well! I’m glad to have kept up Pump and pre-natal yoga though too – both I see as being very important!
I made a No Bull Burger for lunch – on Dakota bread – stacked up with nutrition!
Ketchup + mustard, tomato, avocado and some locally made cheese
Chips on the side (I ate twice this many while my burger was cooking!)
And two plums for dessert
Drink fav-or-eeet!
I took my lunch downstairs and watched this DVD I’ve had from Netflix for about 2 months now. It seemed appropriate given today’s BERF post! It was actually very similar to my breastfeeding class and was good visually to see some more nursing in action.
I have a few hours to work before our doctor’s appt – see ya!

I wish I had known about the No Bull Burgers while I was down there, so I could’ve grabbed one to try. They look so grainy, which is my favorite kind of veg burg.
Katelyn @ Chef Katelyn says
So glad you’re back to bodypump! I’m sure the girls (and Scott) are happy to see you back. 😉

Avocado slices are a burger essential- great lunch!

I’m glad you’ve kept up your workouts in a way that works for you! I know that feels great! The biggest thing that worked for me with breastfeeding was to be committed. It is definitely not the easiest thing in the world to begin with, but it your milk comes in and things function well, the commitment will totally be worth it in the end. Best cuddles ever too!

YAY for hitting the weights 🙂 It is SO healthy for you and the baby! Wahoo!
That lunch looks so delicious.

I have been diggin a bean burger from Jessica @ How Sweet Eats- so delicious! I can’t get enough of them when they are topped with fresh avocado/lime! …..I’ll have to look into that breastfeeding video since I can’t attend a class for myself! Thanks for the info!

Sounds like an amusing vid! I absolutely love the small yellow plums right now. I just polished off a basket of local ones and they were so deliciously juicy. Tart skin, sweet on the inside, just the way I like ’em!

That lunch looks delicious! What kind of lemonade do you buy?

Love the ‘No Bull burger’ recipe!

Too funny–walking is one of the HARDEST forms of prenatal exercise for me! The repetitive motion makes my round ligaments and feet cramp up terribly. I do much better with CrossFit, because I’m never in the same position for very long. It stinks because we have a treadmill in our nice cool basement. Just goes to show you how different everyone is!
KathEats says
And there is no way on earth I could do cross fit 🙂
Megan @ The I Do Diaries says
That burger looks delicious-all the best toppings!

Love the little stacks of cheese on that No Bull–like a cheesy log cabin 🙂
Averie @ Averie Cooks says
locally made cheese = sounds great!
one thing about nursing, forgot to mention this in your berf post and not sure if you mentioned it or not, but find out when your hospital (or local la leche league chapter or similar) is having weekly breastfeeding support group meetings – being with other women who are all going thru the same things, and seeing more experienced women, is so incredibly helpful.
Katie @ Peace Love & Oats says
that sandwich looks amazing!!! And walking is the best form of exercise when you need something easy, you just need yourself and some good shoes! And you don’t get sweaty like you do running! Haha well, depending on the heat.
Lisa says
Hmm. Avocado on a veggie burger- will have to try it!

Man oh man I am excited for you guys!
