SIAB!
- 1/2 mango
- 1/2 banana
- 1/4 cup oats
- 1/2 cup milk
- Handful ice
- 1/4 cup Vega Vanilla Almond
- Organic O’s
- Blackberries
- Coconut Butter magic shell
Magic shell clump!!!!
Spent the morning watching the Teen Nick channel on Direct TV. Full House marathon!!!!!!!! Man that show is good, but so so so corny!! Did we really think the dialogue was realistic back then?
Plans for biking and running with friends this morning. But my stomach is kind wonky 🙁 More digestion needs to occur first. I think I’ve been eating too much!! I do not like it when I wake up not very hungry. It ruins breakfast! Hunger is the best sauce.
See ya when I see ya!
Kittie says
I need to try coconut butter…I love coconuts but it’s so expensive.
holly @ couchpotatoathlete.wordpress.com says
What a beautiful SIAB! I also can tell that I’ve been eating too much when I don’t wake up hungry — time for me to take care of that now.
I love love love Full House. Uncle Jesse is the best.
Freya @ Brit Chick Runs says
Is coconut butter the same as coconut oil? I know that sounds stupid…but I think coconut oil is solid at room temp so I wondered if they were thesame thing…hmm!
Hope you feel better soon 🙂
Kath says
Coconut oil has been pressed from the coconut.
Coconut butter is blended coconut meat into a butter.
They are very similar though!
Evan Thomas says
Happy Sunday!
Re: the last comment. because the butter is the meat, it’s more fiberous. I also think it’s a tad sweeter
Heather (Heather's Dish) says
i was just thinking the same thing about full house the other day! it’s hilarious that i thought there was a real family that interacted like that 🙂
Jess. says
Ha! I often think that about many old shows and movies that I loved. Even ones from my teenage years which wasn’t really that long ago…. I never remember thinking they were so cheesy at the time tho and I still enjoy them 🙂
Cara says
I was a die hard Full House fan when I was younger…and yes, back then I took it very seriously and was always very touched by the heart to heart moments at the end of each episode! Ha! Gotta love it.
Niki (Running in Pink) says
That SIAB looks oh so amazing!
Fun fact: John Stamos was just in my hometown last week for a federal extortion trial against two people here who tried to extort $680,0000 from him for alleged incriminating photos they had from a Florida trip a few years ago. Google it if you are actually interested in more info. 🙂
But it was pretty sweet to have a celebrity roaming our little town for a week! Plus, he is more gorgeous now then he was then! *swoon*
Faith @ LovelyAsCharged says
Hahaha, I love watching shows I enjoyed back as a kid and thinking geez, did I really get into this? It was such a cute show, though…and now I don’t mind watching the episodes with Uncle Jesse… 😉
Michelle says
I know how you feel about waking up not hungry. Describes me today. Bleh!
Emily says
Hey Kath!
Random, I know, but what do you add to your daily coffee??
Also, what are your feelings on coconut milk??
You rock lady! Look forward to reading everyday
Kath says
Just milk. Usually organic skim, but I prefer 1%.
Love coconut milk
Marisa @ Loser for Life says
I love watching Full House with my daughters!
Enjoy your day, Kath!
Rose-Anne says
Oh, Full House! That was always a guilty pleasure of mine…so cheesy but it goes down so easy!
Coconut butter…{swoon!} I just ate mine on top of overnight oatmeal.
Janna (Janna's Keeping it Real) says
Ahhh! Love full house and love that you spent some of your morning watching it!
Hope you have a great run. I’m having that same “wonky” feeling and hoping it passes so I can finally head out the door for my long run! Better late than never?
Melissa @ HerGreenLife says
I’m sure all the stress is not helping your stomach or appetite, either. Here’s hoping that things are settled soon!
tanyasdaily says
I like the photo of the cereal up -close, good photography!
Anna @ Newlywed, Newly Veg says
Beautiful pictures! So vibrant and fun!
Courtney says
Kath, do you ever have stomach aches from drinking coffee? I love coffee and have a cup (or two) every morning but lately it has been making me feel really sick to my stomach. I don’t want to give it up but it hasn’t gone away and I don’t know what to do. I should add that this only happens in the morning, if for some reason I have a cup in the evening I’m fine!
Kath says
Sometimes. I can’t have two cups!!! That makes it ….run right through me. But one is usually ok.
Estela @ Weekly Bite says
What great breakfast pics!
Have a great Sunday 🙂
Camille says
Mmm, yummy breakfast!
It it were me, everything would have gone right over the edge 🙂

Ya know, my stomach has been pretty weird lately and it could very well be from eating too much…
Alyssa says
I am the world’s biggest full house fan! Last night Uncle Jesse performed with the beach boys and I saw him live – best day ever! Enjoy your Sunday!
The Vegan Tiffin says
Those berries look sooooo good! I am jealous – no berries where I am at the moment…
Monica says
Haha, oh Full House, when that music cues in it is somewhat painful knowing the level of cheese factor that is just around the corner.
I feel the same way when I watch Dawson’s Creek, I love it so much, but laugh that I use to get so swept up in the storyline when I was younger.
Ilana says
Hi Kath,
Not that you haven’t thought of it but I bet all the transitions and emotions are affecting

Michelle @ Give Me the Almond Butter says
I agree. Full house was pretty corny, but I loved the Olsen twins.
Chelsea (Chelsea's Chew and Run Fun) says
I can’t get over how plump and ripe those blackberries look. I can’t wait until the ones on my property are ripe enough to pluck.
“Full House” is easily one of those guilty pleasure shows that I adored in childhood, and when channel surfing I’ll always put the remote brakes on the remote to see what Danny and the gang are up to.
Liz @ Tip Top Shape says
Haha, I love Full House marathons. Something you realize watching it when you are older? Uncle Jesse was a HOTTIE. lol
Elaine @ Om Sweet Om says
Your photos are beautiful, as always. I do agree that breakfast should be enjoyed when you’re hungry! I try not to eat after dinner, and if I do i make sure I keep them light. I love waking up hungry and enjoy every single bite of a leisurely breakfast!
Amanda says
I loved full house! I work at a daycare where they are two twins that look exactly like the olsen twins as two year olds!
Kate says
Don’t you think stress could be making your stomach feel strange/not hungry?
Stacey@http://stacey-healthylife.blogspot.com/ says
I have tried the coconut butter shell, it’s amazing.
Jessica @ How Sweet It Is says
I could watch Full House 24/7. For real.

Did you get them all started on blogging or found the friendships through it? Best wishes in Charlottesville, what a beautiful city! Go Cavs 🙂

I love coconut. I think I’m on my 3rd jar of coconut butter and I use coconut oil for most of my cooking.
Once in awhile when I’m home on Saturday morning, I’ll catch reruns of “Saved by the Bell”. That show and Full House reminds me of the time when life was very simple growing up, before we became very busy adults.
Annie@stronghealthyfit says
That breakfast look soo yummy. I’m dying to try coconut butter. Or make some 🙂

Abbi eats COCONUT MAGIC SHELL 😛 on her oats or cereal or fruit or french toast or chicken… ALL the time! We both LOOOOOOOOOOVE it. Once I put a thin layer of it in the fridge and it is just like eating a white chocolate candy bar! 😀
Love ya! I have foodie pics on my blog today. Oats… the Kath food. 🙂 XOXO
Kath says
oh yay!!!
Sarah (Running to Slow Things Down) says
Haha…I was such a Full House fan (kinda still am, really 😀 ). But you’re right. Corny, corny, corny. I think that’s one of the reasons it was so appealing though, if that makes any sense at all. 😉
Your breakfast looks delicious! 😀
Cynthia (It All Changes) says
I’m loving the photos in this post. I got the opportunity to play with a DSLR yesterday and I had so much fun taking photos like this. The food looks beautiful.
