Morning!! I’ve been daydreaming about summer herby salads and ripe heirloom tomatoes. Must have been that burst of warm weather we had last week!
Mazen won’t eat scrambled eggs anymore, so that’s why they’ve disappeared from my plate! But he does like fried eggs, so I’ve been doing those instead. Served with citrus and frothy coffee.
I had nearly the same breakfast two days in a row – toast with nut butter, mango slices and frothy coffee.
Couldn’t tell you which day was better!
Quiche for lunch! With a small mediterranean salad. Love that herbed havarti cheese!
I made little pizzas for Mazen and me with tortillas, pepperoni and melted brie. Cantaloupe on the side.
I finally had the Juice Laundry’s vegan chili. That’s cashew cream on top – so good!!
This was another Blue Apron meal that came in my box – Lamb and Beef Arayes. Here’s the recipe – they were amazing!
Here’s our Survivor night jerk chicken with coconut rice, grilled pineapple and salad!
I have been obsessed with this chocolate!! It’s stone ground, and the little crystals inside are so good. I think the vanilla was a little too sweet, but the salted almond was the bomb.
Goodnight sweet lady bug friends!

They make the Taza chocolate with Chili peppers too! I highly recommend it! If you are ever in the Boston area I hear their tours are fun!

I really need to remember how much I love cashews and their many, many uses! Vegan restaurants always get so creative with it and it’s amazing! It’s time to break out my creativity in the kitchen again!
Also, thanks for the reminder about Survivor…HOW DID I FORGET IT’S BACK ON?! 😉

As I see the gardening tools making their appearance in stores, it’s been making me long for summers garden fresh veggies as well. Great meals, and I can’t get over how delicious that coffee looks.

i love that M won’t eat scrambled, but fried eggs work. 🙂 Toddlers have a mind of their own!! Love that at least an egg is an egg is an eggs. So shoot Kath next week he may prefer hard boiled! 😉
XOXO

The taza salted almond is one of my absolute favorites! Such a unique texture and flavor. I love it! And one of the founders went to my alma mater (Vassar) so it makes me proud.

Taza is fantastic – when I lived in Boston for college my friends and I did the free tour one Saturday and it was awesome!
