Just a celebration of jars – and the color teal – this morning!!!!!
I layered Oikos with banana, Cville Cluster and sunflower butter into my new favorite jar [a gift from Stacy and Nathan!]
Served with some toasted marshmallow tea!
Still lovin’ on my table jars : )
Allie@LiveLaughEat says
I’m anxious to get married so I can decorate with Ball jars. I want teal ones!
Averie @ Love Veggies and Yoga says
Wait do you have news?!
kate says
You have to get married to decorate with jars?
I was not aware of this law.
Kelly @ Foodie Fiasco says
It could be a law… Allie what do you think? 😉
Allie@LiveLaughEat says
Haha no I just want to decorate my reception tables with jars…if I ever get married.
Allie@LiveLaughEat says
Ha! That would be a negative.
kate says
Oh, at the wedding…makes since now!
Khushboo says
The colors really do brighten up the post..gorgeous colors!
Jessica / Green Skies and Sugar Trips says
Love the jars!!! They are all beautiful.
Especially the teal, I love that color!! 🙂
Jen says
I don’t know how you eat out of jars – even with a long spoon. It’s what the bowl was invented for! 🙂 But I do love that color teal.
KathEats says
It keeps the food from falling out
Jen says
Oh, it wasn’t a negative comment! I think the jars are cute and good if you like them.
Although, I don’t really get your response …millions of people eat out of bowls everyday too and the food doesn’t fall out either…:)
KathEats says
I’m just sayin’ it’s more fun to eat when you have to dig down the sides 🙂
Cat @Breakfast to Bed says
I love turquoise. Turquoise and green are my favorite colors ever. This is gorgeous.
Lauren @ Oatmeal after Spinning says
What lovely color coordination- it’s so nice that something as inexpensive as a few Ball jars can add a perfect (delicate) decorative touch.
Hope you guys survive this week at the bakery! 🙂
Ellie@fitforthesoul says
I agree~it’s little things like that that bright up a room! I want to find these somewhere too.
Molly @ RDexposed says
I made spiced nuts last night and packaged them into small jars for Chirstmas gifts. It’s tacky to ask for the jars back…right? They’re just so darn cute!
HRCK says
Does it mean I’m a little too materialistic if I would have called that color Tiffany blue? 🙂 Not that I have anything from there…
KathEats says
Haha not at all
kelsey @ living the gluten free life says

marian @ marianwrites says

I looove teal! My roommate and I have a rule that when we go on shopping trips, neither of us is allowed to buy teal because we already own soooo much. I’m starting to think I need to enforce that rule on dark purple now too… it’s dominating my closet!
Gina @ Running to the Kitchen says
I love that color combination. Now I want to redecorate my entire house with ball jars and pretty colors 😉
Amanda says
I love that color. 🙂 Hope you have a happy Monday!
Ida says
Hey Kath! Love the teal ball jars. You know what would amp it up a notch?????????? Place a tray that coordinates with the surroundings under the jars to contain them. Could be wood, wicker anything you love. You have a great eye. Play with it, I think you’ll see what I mean. Have an awesome day.
Leah says
Thats a nice suggestion, I can visualize that.
KathEats says
A tray would be nice. I don’t have one, but I can look around
Averie @ Love Veggies and Yoga says

KathEats says
Adagio.com!
Megan says
I have a pretty impressive collection of teal ball jars- all from my grandmother and I love, love, love them! Every time I see them I remember all of the good times I spent with her. You and I have a very similar love for all things vintage and nostalgic! Marry Christmas!
Lena @Fit on the Rocks says
I love how that teal color pops against the dark wood and white walls. So pretty!
Lindsay @ Running the Windy City says
Marshmallow tea? That sounds delicious! Where can I find that?
KathEats says
Adagio.com – I’ve gotten a ton of their teas. Honestly though, the toasted marsh. isn’t my favorite. It’s more on the campfire side of the spectrum and could use more vanilla (so I often blend it with vanilla)
The Mrs @ Success Along the Weigh says
So beautiful and something lovely like that makes tea time just a little more special!
Fran@ Broken Cookies Don't Count says
That color is beautiful! Love old jars and breakfast looks good too!

I love the pop of color the jars add. They remind me of old-time telephone pole covers, my grandpa worked for AT&T and various other telephone companies all his life and had a pretty intense collection of the old conductors from the tops of telephone/electric poles, they’re so pretty and unique!
Amanda says
I agree- the teal is so pretty!
