They aren’t my favorite day of the week, but I sure do like them. Because Sunday is our day to both relax and clean, on Monday we are refreshed and the house is in tip-top shape (usually!). The sheets and towels have been washed, we had time to fully clean the kitchen the night before, and the brewery has minimal dirty beer glasses and giant fermenters scattered around : ) Refreshed!
Off to a good start this morning with a wake-up time starting with a 7 and a big bowl of overnight oats! Regular style topped with Cville Cluster and Naturally Nutty Cinnamon Vanilla Almond Butter.
Raspberry leaf, super steeped.
Baby said he was way too cozy in there to come out this weekend and really enjoyed his walks. Unfortunately he didn’t say what his plans are for this week : ) Doctor’s appt. on the agenda!

I was hoping you liked Mondays for a different reason but looks like he’s cozy in there. 😉 I won’t tell you I was 2 weeks late. (I guess I just did) Showing my humor from the beginning, I chose to wait until Labor Day.

I was wondering if you’d have the baby after all that walking. Good luck at the Dr!

Really have to find some way of getting my hands on the Naturally Nutty Almond Butter to try…looks so dark and rich! I love Monday’s for the same reasons! Each new week breaths new opportunities, a renewed sense of enthusiasm!
Angela @ Eat Spin Run Repeat says
I also like Mondays, as strange as it sounds! Clean bed sheets, a fully-stocked fridge, and a fresh week ahead. Good luck at the appointment this morning Kath!

So excited to stop by your blog this morning and see if baby had decided to make his debut! I am sure that you are ready for his arrival too, good luck at the doctor’s office this week. My baby arrived a week early, over Memorial Day weekend. There are drawbacks and advantages to delivering on a holiday weekend. Drawback is my doctor was not on call, advantage is there were no scheduled inductions/deliveries so I had the best L&D room and lots of attention from the nurses working that weekend!

I hope baby comes today! August 27th is a great birthday! 😉

Aww yup, babies are very comfy inside our bellies.. that’s why the first couple months are so scary/confusing for them. Its hard work to be a mom but its also very hard work to be a baby. 😀 <3

We’re the same was with Sundays/Mondays! I scrubbed the kitchen and kitchen floor for 2+hours yesterday, and seeing how clean everything was this morning made me so happy and instantly less stressed! 🙂 Have a great day, and good luck with the appointments and adventures of this week! So excited for you! 🙂

Hi Kath!
I’m a long time reader since 2007, but rarely comment. I just wanted to say I still think your site is a top favorite of mine! Your oatmeal inspired me a long time ago to add “mix-ins” to mine, specifically nut butters, and now can’t eat it without. Beautiful photography as well!
I also wanted to wish you all the best as you get ready for your big day! My little girl will be turning 3 next week and I still can’t believe how fast she’s grown. I also remember the anticipation the week before…it was unbearable! Enjoy your day! 🙂

Thanks Kristin!

Babies know when the time is right and they keep knowing it for years after they’re born too!
Best of luck in the glorious weeks to come.
Your avid reader, Helga.

I gave overnight oats another try this morning and the verdict is I really like them! I think it was the temperature thing that didn’t sit well, so I microwaved them for like 30 seconds. That did the trick!
Have a wonderful day Kath!
KathEats says
🙂 I did that today too because i was cold!

Hi Kath! This is totally random, but I just read that Oikos is now making lowfat greek yogurt. Had you heard? I know you’ve said that you prefer Oikos because it is organic but wish it had some fat. Voila!
KathEats says
Oh that’s great!!

Didn’t you just tell us like… a couple weeks ago, that you are pregnant?! 😉 Time sure flies!
