Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!! Winter is on the way!! No need for air conditioning here, and bring on the warm foods [I could also just put on a sweater
]
Today’s lunch was a blend of our past 3 meals
Quinoa, millet, grilled eggplant, squash sauteed with garam masala, curry and coconut butter
With a side of toast – Cinnamon Raisin Walnut
With a thin slice of melted butter
And HOT tea!
Speaking of HOT, guess where I’m going this afternoon!?

Bet you are going to HOT yoga??? I went to my first warm yoga class last week and really liked it – the room was 85 degrees, but even that was intense.
Brittany (A Healthy Slice of Life) says

😉
Daniel says
I could go for a nice warming meal, it’s freezing here as well. I believe we’re having eggplant and spaghetti with fresh made sauce tonight (just incase you needed a warm inspiration :P).
And I like the new layout as well, it’s really organized. One problem though, and sorry if you’re aware of it already (or if it’s just my computer), but when I go to click on the “Kath RD” button, I get the old product bylaws page.
Kath says
Well, it’s a drop down menu. The bylaws are a drop to the Kath parent page. I wondered if this would be confusing. Try JUST clicking the Kath, RD part.
Rachel (Two Healthy Plates) says
It’s not very cool in Kentucky – which usually isn’t all that different than VA! I’m ready for fall.
I also love curried grain salads – yum!

I love quinoa!!! I think I’ll be having some tonight for dinner..I have no clue how I’m going to cook it though!!
Isn’t hot yoga the best thing when it’s cold? I couldn’t have survived without it this past winter!! I owe it big to whomever invented stretching in the heat =D
lisasfoods says
Hot yoga! (I’ve got to try it someday. I haven’t done any yoga in ages, and you’ve inspired me to find a hot studio this winter.)
It’s really cold in MA too, sadly. I miss the sun!
christina cadden says
MMM, all that food looks so good!
Kristin says
Random question–> I remeber you mentioning how much you liked Bare Mineral cosmetics. How long does the “starter kit” last for you? Oh, also, are you a full-time blogger now??
Kath says
My first one lasted me almost 2 years!! I think they are “supposed” to last 6 months? But you can definitely stretch it.
Alycia [Fit n Fresh] says
Loving the new set up!! And that meal looks so good right now – considering I’m freezing at work. Hope you’re having fun in warmer weather 🙂

I’m so loving the cool weather. It makes me so happy to see fall around the corner. 😀
Lauren says
Bring on the Hot yoga!!! 🙂
Kristin says
My guess for HOT was the Hot springs in Virginia – but maybe that was a bit too generous. It is cooler here in Baltimore, too. You have inspired me to change up my blog – was a defunct knitting blog. Now I hope to talk about like and food!
Wei-Wei says
It’s still blaaaaazing hot today in Shanghai! They turn up the AC really high, though. I don’t reall like that… But. Are you going to hot yoga again? 😉
Laura (Starloz) says
Oh boy, i hate to say it but I’m not a fan of winter at all. It’s not an enjoyable time in my life.
I love the mix of meals, stella!
Mary @ Bites and Bliss says
I’m guessing hot yoga?! 😀 Can’t wait for winter!

Woot! If it’s getting cold where you are, that means it’s getting warmer down here in Australia! HAPPY HAPPY! (I’ve only had one summer in three years because of travelling. I can’t wait for summer fruit and not wearing jumpers!!)
