I really want to try Body Pump! Have you posted longer review about your experience at all? It’d be great to hear what you think about them!

My apologies for my mishap comment earlier. I am glad you found your debit card. Those pears look delicious. And cinnamon is a great enhancement for just about any food. 😉
Hope @ With A Side Of Hope says
Sounds like a busy day! I had a pear today as well. I never thought to add cinnamon to it. Must try! 🙂
Johanna B says
I add cinnamon to everything. My favorite thing to add it to is Greek Yogurt. I add a splash of good vanilla and some cinnamon. Yummo.
Ashley@FoodNFitnessDiaries says
Sometimes photos speak the best! Love your random mix of a lunch!
Ashley @ Coffee Cake and Cardio says
Love, Love, Love smoked white cheddar. I think that’s a pearfect lunch 😉

kathleen @ the daily crumb says
sounds like a nice little monday! i love tasting plate lunches… you get a bit of everything 🙂
Lena @Fit on the Rocks says
Oh BodyPump! I haven’t gone in weeks because of my running schedule, but I think I need to get started again before they release #80. It’s supposed to be crazy hard!
Laura @ She Eats Well says
I think your lunch looks absolutely lovely. But then again, a fried egg sandwich (or any type of variation on that) is perfect in my book any day. 🙂
Maria @ Sinfully Nutritious says
I have been vegan for 3+ years, I thought all of my egg replacements have been quite good. I have even made “dippy” eggs, but your real eggs on toast remind me of the one’s my grandmother used to make me in my pre-vegan years. I now know, I have to find a way to replicate that look!
Andrea @FrSeed2Stomach says
my favorite kind of lunch. 🙂
Kate @ PastaFreeRunner says
First of all, I LOVE that all of your drink glasses are mason jars! Such a cute idea! Second of all, that is the greatest placemat! and third of all, your food looks delicious today!
Kinley @ Better Off Barefoot says
Monday’s = brains not wanting to work or be creative… I like how you still managed to get a little something typed though 🙂 And had a pretty yummy looking random lunch!
Emily G. @ from my messy desk says
I would really love to try Body Pump. My gym offers it, but you can’t buy classes, you have to pay the pricey membership! Boo!
Anyway – I love dippy eggs on toast! It’s so easy yet I always forget about it!
Lisa (bakebikeblog) says
yummy! What a tasty lunch!
laurie says
I would be very interested to hear what you learn about vitamin D. I’ve been reading a lot about it lately and how it protects the body in many ways from disease and how a lot of us have low levels. I know our skin makes it from the sun but I’m interested in learning how to get more vit D in my diet.
Kristie says
Not related to this post, but have you heard about this yet? Thought you would be interested since you own the same (or similar?) shirt….

I hear ya – some days there’s just not much to say! That lunch looks incredible – the egg is perfectly cooked! Did you do it in the microwave?? I love throwing together random things and calling it a meal 🙂
KathEats says
Nope a skillet
Angela @ Eat Spin Run Repeat says
That’s 10 seconds longer than we’ve had sunshine today! I’m excited for the big basement reveal!
Christin@christinjoyful says
Love Body Pump, but hate calf raises…i’m with you! Also really excited about the full view super setting in google reader…thanks again for mentioning that! 🙂
Averie @ Love Veggies and Yoga says
10 seconds of seeing the sun is NOT enough. Those winter days are…well…not my favorites.
Here’s to more sun in your world tomorrow. And to getting all your projects accomplished and webinar written/done. Always a nice feeling once you can cross that stuff off your list.
Susan H. @ the food allergy chronicles says
Sometimes, random meals are the best…a little bit of everything to satisfy all the cravings!
Hannah @ eat, drink and save money says
Yum! I just finished a snack of carrots and hummus after taking a hiatus from them for a while. Is that the peanut butter hummus? I always add strange things to my hummus too!
Heather @ Run Eat Play says
Ohhh I have’t done calf raises in Body Pump!
All your food always looks amazing – I’m jealous!
Kate @ Lady Bird says

Estela @ Weekly Bite says
Your pictures are so pretty that you can get away with minimal words 🙂

Seriously, everything you eat always looks so, so tasteful and 10.000 times better then when I would make it. That’s an amazing skill 🙂 I wish I would have you cook for me now and again !
Maria says
No sun for us today either. 🙁 Smoked cheddar=Yum!
Emily says
kath this is a genius lunch! it looks SO SO good. omg. haha.

I REALLY like the look of that lunch 🙂

Some days are just random and you have to go with it. Looks like yours has been good so far!
Angel7 says
I like the combination of foods for your lunch!
I also like the combination of your yellow and while tablecloth with black and white placemat!

TeenyLittleSuperChef says
Sometimes no words are needed and it’s best to just let the pictures do the talking. You somehow always manage to make a sunny-side up egg look like an elegant delicacy. What’s your secret to a perfectly cooked egg? Mine always come out all runny and goopy. I think I need a good egg tutorial.
Have a great Monday! You should deem yourself lucky to have even seen the sun at all today. We’ve gone a good three days in a row now with no sunlight whatsoever 🙁
KathEats says
I just put it in a well-sprayed skillet and don’t touch it for 3-5 minutes
lynn @ the actor's diet says
i had a random snack plate of a lunch today too. mondays are made for those.
Anna @ On Anna's Plate says
That cheese looks awesome– we had similar snack plates yesterday for lunch with leftover party food 🙂
Jamie C. says
totally off subject for your posts today but i have to say… i’ve made the blackbean coconut dip/spread for the 2nd time and it is sooooo good! thank you for that recipe!
KathEats says
OH yay!
Alexa @ Simple Eats says
Love snacky lunches like this! The textures and flavors always make me feel more satisfied!
Andrea @ MainelyVeggies says
I’m guessing that’s paprika on the egg?? I’ve gotta try this!
KathEats says
Yup, smoked!
Katie @ Peace Love and Oats says
If it makes you feel better, I saw zero sun and got misted on! I guess the dreary weather season is here!
Jules @ La Petite Maison Verte says
I had a similar lunch today, although my pear was not nearly as pretty as yours, but probably just as tasty 🙂 Super cute font you used on your pics, I especially love the curly-cues on the ‘g’s in “Eggs”!
Stacy @ Say It With Sprinkles says
Random, sampler-platter-style meals are often the most delicious! Lots of flavors & textures!
caroline says
Hi Kath,
You mentioned you had frames for posters delivered to your house – do you have a good online site to recommend?
Thanks!
KathEats says
Hey Caroline, These are the ones I got – inexpensive and simple: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005CF1J2Q/ref=oh_o03_s00_i00_details

KathEats says
Not before Christmas, but in January – most likely yes!
E says
Yay! I can’t wait to buy more 😀

Mix and match lunches are the best. They keep me entertained while I eat.
Becky O'Brien says
Hey Kath. Your photos always speak 1000 words. : ) Glad you found your debit card. Whew. In addition to Vitamin D-rich foods, I have found that Shaklee’s Vitamin D3 is a great, inexpensive supplement that gets results. Looking forward to your next Home Clean Home post.
Ellie@fitforthesoul says
Wowwwieeee what a packed day when you put it like that! 😀 My lunches are always so random and international 🙂
Lynn says
Totally random question, but do you drink tap water filtered or unfiltered? If filtered, what system do you use? Just curious…I’m looking at purchasing a system. Thanks!
KathEats says
Tap 🙂
Erin says
Towards the end of my pregnancy, I ate a pear sprinkled with cinnamon almost every night. And my belly made a built-in table for it. We don’t have pears on Oki….I’ve been considering ordering some of those Frog ones you eat, or the Harry & David ones but I’m too nervous about how they’d hold up during shipping.
Khushboo says
This lunch is so simple yet so delicious- love the flavor combos!
Rebecca @ Naturally Healthy and Gorgeous says
So cool that you did a webinar on Vitamin D. I am actually doing my PhD on Vitamin D!
KathEats says
Oh cool! What is your focus?
Fran@ Broken Cookies Don't Count says
I love meals that are a variety of seemingly unrelated things combined. Yours looks delicious!
Allison says
I’m loving sunny and runny eggs lately on my bfast sandwiches [with a touch of jam]! Apples, citrus, and pears are the best fall/ winter fruits [IMO] 😀 Your hummus looks super thick- homemade?!
P.S. Yay for getting your debit card back, could have been worse…
