Are your kids tired of cold cereal for breakfast? I’ve got you covered with quick and healthy breakfast ideas that will keep them energized for a full day at school.
Mornings with little kiddos can be a challenge!
Trying to get yourself ready for the day while simultaneously setting up your kids for a successful day at school is no easy task.
Plus, I don’t know about you, but if you’re in this same boat, I can imagine that this back-to-school season might feel significantly more challenging after a year (or more!) of at-home schooling and wacky routines.
We’re definitely starting to get back into the groove of getting off to school in the morning; it’s been very helpful to have easy breakfasts ready to go that don’t add more stress to our a.m. flow.
Sure, cold cereal works in a pinch (and we certainly eat it plenty!), but I try to mix things up in the morning.
I have rounded up several quick and healthy breakfast ideas that both of my boys enjoy and your kids will love!
From banana baked oatmeal to savory egg and cheese cups, you can make many of these school breakfasts recipes ahead of time so you don’t have to think twice about what to eat at 8 a.m.

These are so helpful! I saved several to try this weekend for my kiddos for the upcoming week. Do you have a favorite toddler smoothie cup? One that Biech can’t spill all over your house? Haha
Kath Younger says
We use these cups most of the time. They do sometimes overflow with smoothie if the pressure builds up, so they aren’t perfect, but the straw is one way so they can be spilled.
We also have these cups, which I love for the multi uses, but they are not really spill proof. But better than a cup without a lid!
