If you want to make the night a little more special for your ghosts and goblins, this Halloween roundup includes the spookiest eats, treats, and drinks to help you celebrate!
HALLOWEEN Costumes for Grownups
I’ve always loved dressing up, and it being the week of my birthday smack in the middle of my favorite season is always fun. Although I love to wear all black and turn into a cat or a witch, I am still thinking of something new for Halloween this year. To be honest, at my age the most important thing is the dress for the weather, so I can’t decide until the forecast is predictable! This skeleton body suit is great and this super mom cape can be added to a warm or cold outfit. I also like the idea of getting some of the funny t-shirts out there: “this is my tired mom costume” and “in my spooky mom era.” Or match with your partner! (See all the Halloween things I bookmarked here!)
Pumpkin Carving Tools
If you don’t have the perfect pumpkin carving tools yet, you are doing Halloween wrong! It took me to a few years ago to realize that punching out tools (like cookie cutters) are where it’s at!! We have a set like this and it’s awesome. And this nesting scooper and carver are great for getting the pumpkin going first.
Kids’ Costumes
This is such a fun age to celebrate Halloween with the boys, too.
This year Birch is going as Darth Vader and Mazen is going as the creepy clown Birch is wearing above. The boys went shopping at the Spirit store several times. If you’ve been and seen the scary dog who jumps out of the dog house – IYKYK!
Thomas loves to go all out with Halloween decorations; our sweet house turns into haunted house come October 1st. Every year he adds to his collection (and announces so in an evil voice!)
You should see her at night!
