I had imagined myself getting up in time for 10AM BodyPump today, but what I neglected to remember was that if one stays up until midnight, eight hours of sleep are required and thus, we didn’t wake up until 8:30! 10AM came and passed… oh well!
Breakfast was worth lounging for ; )
Karen likes her oatmeal without banana, so we made it with cottage cheese and put our banana on top. It was fun to eat the banana chunks!
Also on top – Harris Teeter plain peanut butter (love the plain classic!) and Rosie’s Best granola.
Eat at Karen’s is always fun : )
With some stroooong Peet’s Coffee!
Not sure of the plans for my day, but I have GOT to get moving on this article I’m writing – and have a recipe to make ASAP too. We’re coming back over here to cook tonight, but we’ll be sleeping in our own bed again. The patient is experiencing second-day soreness, but she’s eating oatmeal and crocheting next to me on the couch!

Mmm! Looks good! I slept soo late this morning! haha like til 12 , but i stayed up til 4! anyways i had a question!
do you use whipped banana oats for all your oatmeal combos in the tribute? Do you use it when you make peanut butter and jelly oatmeal?
I’m afraid to use it in that recipe bc i am afraid it will taste more like BANANAS, peanut butter and jelly. haha
Kath says
I always use banana!! Even in savory combinations – well, almost always.
