If you thought you’d see cupcake oatmeal this morning you are mistaken.
GUF. I am STILL FULL.
I drank a bunch of water before i went to bed last night and I think I actually woke myself up as I dosed off with everything trying to come back up……ack!
I waited two hours to get an inkling of hunger this morning before having anything for breakfast. I’m going to yoga with Kelsey and wanted something in my stomach. I made a smaller bowl of pumpkin pie yogurt + granola + banana + pumpkin butter.
Warmth + headache prevention
[Is it bad that my “small” breakfast is probably most people’s normal breakfast!? Probably so…]
Kelsey and I are trying a new yoga studio today – Y2Yoga. A friend introduced me to the owner, so I’m excited to test out some hot yoga that is closer to my house!
Speaking of which…I have to leave in 5 minutes and I’m not dressed! Later!
Nicole says
I’m like you, most mornings I have to have a big breakfast and then the rest of my meals tend to be smaller than the average person. I like it that way, it gives me all day to digest and I’m not left constantly hungry and munching like I am on the days I only have a bowl of cereal. Oh and now you’re 27 on the 27th, that’s almost as cool as 26 on 26.
rhodeygirl says
Oooh good luck at yoga. If I still felt full from dinner I wouldn’t be able to handle hot yoga!
Kristin @ Iowa Girl Eats says
Ugh, I hate waking up full!! When I eat a ton the night before I eather wake up absolutely starving, or just the thought of food makes me naseous! It least it tasted good last night! Have fun at yoga!
christie, honoring health says
I hope you like the new studio!
I prefer doing yoga on an empty stomach, I focus so much better and if the room is hot, having food in my stomach makes me want to hurl.
Andee (Runtolive) says
Have fun at the studio! I also like to eat something before I do any physical activity
Madeline @ Greens and Jeans says
I hate when food comas carry over to the next day!

For some reason no matter how much I eat at night, I’m still full in the morning. We’re talking pizza and garlic knots at three am, and ravenous when I wake up at 9…guess I’m a freak of nature 🙂 Enjoy your day!

Hi,
You mentioned that the cupcakes are from a local Charlotte bakery……which one? They are beautiful.
Bekah says
My breakfasts are alllways twice as big as the average person. (Who probably skips breakfast entirely.) But I remind myself that they’re probably going to eat a TON of calories later in the day, while I eat a smaller but still filling lunch and dinner. 🙂 Glad you had a great bday Kath!
Jenna says
have fun at yoga! and NO it is defs not a problem that your smaller breakfast is most people’s normal breaskfast because yours are awesome 🙂

Kristen @ frostingandfroth.com says
Cupcake oatmeal would have been fabulous, but we’ll forgive you for wanting to avoid cupcake tummy in yoga. That would certainly not be fun.
