You knew this was coming: uggggggggggggggg. Too much wine!!!! I do not do well at events when wine bottles are floating by filling my glass!! My gums are itching with inflammation this morning. For real. But I am still in a glow from last night. What an amazing weekend.
Despite fuming vino, I somehow I still managed to meet Tina, Shannon + Quinn in the lobby for a short morning run. Can I say it again? I’ve never regretted a workout!
We did a chipper 3.5 miles. There was much less chatter than yesterday’s run!
A little pre-run fuel courtesy of my swag bag from Toad Hollow Farm!
I had just enough time to shower and pack up and Jenna and I went in search of her car and then the farewell brunch. It was quite stressful, but we arrived ready to eat a whole loaf of Nature’s Pride.
The brunch was incredible. Everything was so fresh!!
Panzanella with Nature’s Pride 12-Grain Bread
A Pear + Kerrygold Blue Cheese Salad
Frittata with Aged Cheddar, Whiskey and Wild Mushrooms
Nature’s Pride Nutty Oat French Toast
Pear Compote & Whipped Cinnamon Butter!!
I had a taste of everything – and it all tasted SO GOOD!
And had a second plate of salad and another mini sandwich. Couldn’t get enough of the pear + blue cheese!!!
I passed on the bloody mary bar :mgreen:
One last goodbye from Ryan The Girl – Foodbuzz superstar!!
A huge thank you to Foodbuzz for a smashing weekend and to Bertolli Sauce for sending me in style!!
To Sonoma we go!
[Blogging at 4:25 PM and we’re just now having lunch // dinner!? Will probably have a backlog of posts, but don’t worry – LOTS of awesome footage to come!!!]

I’ve been reading KathEats a few times a week for a year. I enjoy the meal postings and discussions of health and fitness.
But the unquestioned extravagance and waste evident at the Foodbuzz conference really bothered me. In a time when nearly 11% of adults and 17% of adults face food insecurity (1), and when 10% of Americans are out of work, it just seemed kind of gross. I enjoy food as much as the next person, but I sure wish all that effort, money, and enthusiasm could go toward better food-related causes.
