Looks like a cold winter day. Feels like a warm spring morning. Even from bed, I could tell this day was different. Bring on the 58* and bring on the playing outside!
Bowl ‘O yogurt + fruit + cereal for breakfast
1 cup Oikos
Half banana
Blueberries + Blacks
Morning O’s
Ellwood Thompson granola

I love wild squirrel PB. I would recommend it to anyone. Sneaky Cinnamon is my favorite.
Ellie@Fit for the Soul says
Same here! Sneaky cinn and cocoanut are da bomb~
And Cali is always opposite of everyone it seems! It’s still pretty dreary out (which I like), and it seems that it’s getting cooler and cooler by the day.
Cait's Plate says
I know I’m LOVING this warmer weather. Unfortunately it’s not going to stick around for us but gotta love it while it lasts!!
Maria @ Sinfully Nutritious says
In Philly it’s 50 degrees! I was just out walking myself. I came home to some fresh fruit!
Lovely breakfast. Enjoy this gorgeous day.

Ahhh I’m so jealous! It’s a balmy 28 right now in Chicago! And that breakfast looks so good, I wish I could find some good fresh berries!

Sorry but I can’t share this enthusiasm for spring like temps. I bought The Mr some snowshoes and I’d like to be able to go shoeing with him, you know…ONCE! 🙂 Enjoy your warm spell while I pout. HA!

Very jealous of your weather!! Although we are supposed to warm up to high 30’s later this week – whoot!

We had rain and chilly weather here yesterday but I’m showing it’s supposed to warm back up. Kinda bums me out because I like when there’s actual WEATHER in SoCal… 😉
Gina @ Running to the Kitchen says
I just walked outside with the dog and didn’t even need a jacket in NY in JANUARY! I’m definitely going for a walk today too to soak up the fresh air!
Sarah says
Hi Kath,
So glad you get some nice weather today! I have a question perhaps you have answered in the past…what do you do with the other half of your bananas? Do you stick them in the fridge for the next day?
Thanks!
KathEats says
Yup! In the fridge, in the peel
Sarah says
Thanks!

Averie @ Love Veggies and Yoga says
Enjoy the balmy 58! I know in the middle of January, that’s a treat!
So why is the 55F right now for me feeling so cold and I’m procrastinating this run I’m about to do?! ha! 🙂
Erika - The Teenage Taste says
I’m so glad it’s sunny and warm today! I’m SO ready for Springtime – LOL! 😀
Lauren @ Oatmeal after Spinning says
I am loving this weather today (well, I will be when I leave work…) and wish it would stick! It’s so temperamental right now! I think it’s supposed to be warmer this weekend too… this kind of scares me though that February is going to be full of snow and ice to make up for the mild January. I hear that the January before the big blizzards of 2010 was just like this… eek!
Dee says
I’m loving this mild weather too. Go 50’s! 🙂
Sarah says
Where did you get that adorable bicycle linen?
KathEats says
it’s from Oh Little Rabbit’s Etsy Store!

The snow has melted here, and I hope more snow comes soon! I do not like it when the grass looks brown.
