Good afternoon! Seen any snow today? Feels like a flashback to the winter despite all the green I see from my window.
I went to Pump this morning and got a great workout in. The class was packed! It definitely amped up my energy a bit, but I’m still dragging today. Must be the weather! I am not a big napper, but maybe a 10 minute snooze will do me some good…
Post-Pump lunch included…a few swigs of juice followed by leftover pizza + grapes
And a nutritious salad made of mixed greens, salt, olive oil, avocado, lemon hummus and cottage cheese.
I used to put cottage cheese on my salads at salad bars all the time when I was little (in addition to blue cheese dressing – they complement each other so well!) but I need to do this more at home!
I couldn’t resist a spoonful of Biscoff Crunch for dessert. It’s funny I’ve had TJ’s Cookie Butter in my house for months and don’t find it too tempting but this new Biscoff…geez.
‘Bout to go write tomorrow’s BERF post!
Lauren @ Oatmeal after Spinning says
Yay for pump! Maybe you liked the music just a liiiiittle bit better today? 😉
And yay for that BUMP! Lookin’ good, mama!
KathEats says
This was my fake pump class – so good music was played!
Ellie@Fit for the Soul says
wow Kath, you are looking SO GREAT!! Very healthy, joyful, and glowy~~~Oooooo…hahaha. And I tried cottage cheese on my salad a few times, and I have to agree that it’s delicious!
KathEats says
🙂
Catalina @ Cake with Love says
The Biscoff is addicting I can’t keep it in my house since I wll eat all the jar, no portion control around Biscoff!! I love cottage cheese on top of my salads, however I can’t even come close to blue cheese, somehow I don’t like the smell…
Ashley @ Coffee Cake and Cardio says
YAY for body pump and a yummy lunch! Enjoy the rest of the day (and that 10 minute nap).
Cait's Plate says
I know I can’t believe this cooler weather! It’s insanity!
You’re looking so good! And I loved your BERF post on eating Real Food earlier today 🙂 Look forward to your next!
Also – Biscoff crunch!? I need to find that!!
Kristen says
Just thought I’d share that they carry the Biscoff Crunch at World Market in Charlottesville – that’s actually the first place I saw it!
KathEats says
Sa-weet!
Claire @ Live and Love to Eat says
That’s a great color on you (and the bump!). 🙂
Katie @ Peace Love & Oats says
oooo that pizza looks so good right now!
Tiffany says
I have some cottage cheese in the fridge and was wondering what else I could use it for besides overnight oats. I’ll have to try it on my salad.
You look amazing!! 🙂
Averie @ Averie Cooks says
10 minute snoozes can be lifesavers! Try to stay warm in the coolish weather you’re having. We’re having it, too.

Hi Kath,
Can you do a post either here or on BERF on how you modify Body Pump for pregnancy? I’m only 11 weeks along but I have seen other pregnant women doing the full out ab track (something my doctor and all the pregnancy books do not recommend). Do you do all the tracks as per normal? Would love to hear what if any modification you make. Thanks!
KathEats says
Yup! I’m waiting until I’m a little farther along so I can talk about the bumpage and how it’s changed, but I will do a post
Alexandra says
Thank you!
Robyn @ Blueberries and Oats says
Do you find the flavor of the Biscoff spread that different from the Cookie Butter or is it just the crunch that sends it over the top?
KathEats says
The flavors are slightly different. I much prefer Biscoff
Heather @ Fit Mama Real Food says
Exercise is soooo energizing! And naps are awesome, I’m not a napper either but sometimes they’re so refreshing.
j3nn says
I love cottage cheese! I wish I could eat it. Leftovers and a side salad = the best
Susan H. @ The Food Allergy Chronicles says
Cottage cheese and Thousand Island Dressing is my salad bar combination that I remember loving!
eliz@thesweetlife says
Pizza and grapes are definitely two of the foods I’ve been craving the most during my pregnancy!
Michelle @ Find Your Balance says
Cute photo…oh man I look back and those small “baby bump” photos I was so proud of at the time and laugh. I ended up ALL belly, so big in the front it was ridiculous, people always thought I was having twins the way I waddled around 🙂 Nope, just 1 big boy!
Sarah @ Fresh Living says
Mmmmmmm! Your salad and pizza both look so delicious. What a great combination!
Annette @FitnessPerks says
I love cottage cheese on my salads too-so yummy!
BodyPUMP fix is definitely something I need–luckily I get to teach again tomorrow 🙂
Cerissa says
Hahaha, it’s 85* here in Washington state today… go figure! I have a new appreciation for cottage cheese lately (it makes a great protein shake!). I might have to give it a try on top of a salad, thanks!
jane says
K, are you for real??? That salad looks AMAZING! So simple, so filled with protein and healthy fats, and so YUMMY! Thanks for the inspiration. If I had pinterest, I’d so pin it.
Adorable baby bump, btw!
Jodi @ Jodi, Fat or Not says
I’m still a little weirded out by the idea of cottage cheese in my salad, but my sister also swears by it. You look like superwoman in that photo! 🙂
jojo says
You look great!!
I never got in the habit of eating cottage cheese, I seethe popularity among healthy eaters, and never got into it…. It looks like a good compliment on salads though, I may give it another try 🙂
Kerry @ Totes My Oats says
I love amped up pump classes! You look great, Kath!
Andrea @ The Skinny Chronicles says
My oh my, looking at that baby grow. So cool! I hope you get some nap time in!
Grace @ Grace Dishes says
I’ve actually never had cottage cheese and have been meaning to try it!
That pizza looks really yummy 🙂
You are simply glowing! I love that blue on you!
Khushboo says
I love cottage cheese as a salad topper, especially with salsa mixed in!
Elisabeth says
You look beautiful in that blue shirt! (Bump’s looking cute, too 😉 ) What brand of cottage cheese do you buy? I LOVE cottage cheese, but I’m a little picky about consistency – yours looks perfect!
KathEats says
I love whole foods organic low fat
Amy @ amy loves food says
You are doing so well during your pregnancy, last year when i was pregnant, i did well with food but i majorly struggled with my energy levels so exercise was a rare occurrence – after a full day at work all i wanted to do was go to bed!
Fran@ Broken Cookies Don't Count says
Cottage cheese is one of my all time favorite! Try it with sweet pickle relish on your salad. Or with apple butter for a decadent tasting sweet treat!
Angel7 says
I love cottage cheese! I am going to put some on my salad today.
