Dinner was great! I’m just satisfied enough. I had a little of everything, and my entree wasn’t too heavy. It’s nice when a restaurant entree is like something you’d cook at home! Photo recap only because I’ve got to go be social. See you tomorrow night – or perhaps Wednesday afternoon at the latest, depending on internet access in New Jersey!
We’re leaving at 8:30 a.m. and will have lunch with my cousins and aunt/uncle. We’re doing dinner at Charlie Brown’s (which has a great salad bar). Then pizza for lunch with my grandmother on Wednesday. Then back to Baltimore! Hope you’re all enjoying this week 8)

Wine
My sister and I shared this glass. I’m guessing I had about 2/3 and she had 1/3.
Bread
Citrus Monkfish + Shrimp Skewers
there’s a second skewer underneath. I also traded a bite of fish for a bite of my sister’s mahi mahi. Mine came with rice pilaf and assorted vegetables. Cleared my plate! It was a little buttery but tasted nice and fresh.
Apple Bread Puding with Vanilla Ice Cream
I ate 1/3 of this and my sister split the rest. It was great!

Not related to this post, but I just wanted to say that I love the song you posted from your spinning class ("Everytime we touch"). I just added it to my ipod – GREAT for workouts, so upbeat.
Kath and any other readers, if you have fun workout song suggestions like that, I'm always looking for some new tunes to run to!

Hi Kath,
I love your blog. After seeing that you like Larabars, and try to keep things as unprocessed as possible, I was wondering if you have ever read the Raw Food Detox Diet by Natalia Rose?
I think it is one of the most inspiring books about nutrition I have ever read. Natalia Rose's blog also has good information, but the book is even better, lots of great recipes too.

Melissa,
I haven't read much about the raw foods diets. I do agree that whole, unprocessed foods are best (which is why I love Larabars) but I think I'll continue to cook my food – it enhances so much of the flavor and who would want to miss out on the pleasures of cooking and eating delicious meals!?
Thanks for the info 🙂
