We got back our warmer weather and had an outing to the Shoals Club.

Before dinner the kiddos swam in the baby pool for a bit. We chose this hour so there would be no other families there, but we have found that social distancing at the pool (outdoors) isn’t too hard to begin with.

We eventually moseyed up to the Latitudes deck where they had outdoor seating.
Sauv Blanc from Matanzas Creek!
Remember when I visited the winery with a group of bloggers?!

Lasted all of 10 mins. We had to walk them up and down the boardwalk until the food came.

It’s our last day here. I’ll be soaking it up, Birch style : )

omg?! Has it already been two weeks? Where did the time go? It looks like y’all had the best time at the beach, and I’m glad the weather cooperated enough for this time of year. I really enjoyed this return to “old school” blogging; makes me remember why I started reading in the first place. Do you think you’ll ever go back to it — or a few days a week? Have a safe trip home!!

It’s definitely in the realm of possibility 🙂 I’m still trying to figure out what I want for a long term plan! I do need flexibility and the ability to work ahead and drop everything if there’s a kid issue that needs me ASAP….

I guess I never knew Mazen’s middle name! Is it a family name?

He’s named after Duke University : )
