Welcome, June.
One of my favorite months!!! Simple. Warm. Festive.
I did not sleep well last night at all – I tossed and turned. I think really I was just too excited to get up and eat Lynda’s Granola.
Pablo and Lynda shared the recipe for the most delicious and addicting granola ever with us. Because we don’t have a Lynda at our store, we’re 99% sure we’re going to call it Cville Cluster! Because it’s all about the clusters..
I piled a bunch on top of a cup of greek yogurt and a banana and topped it off with a dollop of Smucker’s Natural.
I promise there is yogurt underneath!
It’s an early start for me – headed in to the bakery on my bike. Hope I make it!
It might be dark by the time I get back home! But I’ll see you at lunch.
Stacy @ Every Little Thing says
Have a good day at the bakery! I do love June – the perfect summer month.
Katie @ cooklaughmove says
YUM! Looks good to me!
Baking N Books says
Now – can you share Lynda’s recipe with us?! 🙂 (for some reason my comments aren’t showing – is there a problem with them?).
Anna @ Newlywed, Newly Veg says
I agree– in fact, I think June might be my *very favorite* month!! 🙂
Cait @ Beyond Bananas says
Those clusters do look DELICIOUS!
Lauren at Keep It Sweet says
Oh that granola looks delish. Enjoy your day!
Marina says
Clusters are my favorites, I always search for them in my granola bags 😀
Have a good productive day!
Molly @ RDexposed says
Simple is such a good descriptor for June! I love how there are no holidays, no weddings (this year), cookouts, and sunshine. Perfect.
Kate says
Why haven’t you tried the incredible sweet potato butter or dulce de leche from feast yet?
KathEats says
Because I didn’t know about them yet!?
Nicole says
I had the same exact breakfast, sub blueberries for the bananas. Granola clusters are the best- our bag from the Farmers Market has all huge chunks in it… its like eating cookies.
Angela @ Eat Spin Run Repeat says
I love granola clusters too – especially the Nature’s Path Ancient Grains granola ones! June is one of my favourite months as well. Even thought it’s hoooooooottttt, I’m not complaining because it seems like it took spring/summer forever to get here!
KathEats says
LOVE Ancient Grains but have no Costco!
Kristin @ Iowa Girl Eats says
omg I started drooling before I even read what it was that was piled inside your bowl – LOVE crunchy clusters! Kashi Honey Almond Flax cereal has the BEST, massive clusters. Happy June!
Krystina (Organically Me) says
Clusters are my FAVORITE part of granola.
Miranda @ Working Mom Works Out says
That granola looks amazing! Have a great day!
Caitlin says

Have a great day at the bakery, Kath!
Stephanie @ StephSnacks says
Mmmm you can never go wrong with granola clusters!
Jil @ Big City, Lil Kitchen says
I LOVE granola was big chunks (clusters is a way better word haha) – it’s one of the factors of whether or not I’ll get that granola aaagain.
Liv @ The Salty n' Sweet says
Wow so awesome of Lynda to share her recipe with you 🙂 I can’t wait to drop by and grab a bag of the granola you’re always raving about!
Katie says
Are you sure you can’t share the recipe? My kids and I have almost polished off our last 3 batches of granola. They love making (and eating) it! Also, 4 1/2 year old son needs the address of your Great Harvest so he “knows how to find it”. My kids are ready to pack up and come visit but it’s a long drive from Nebraska. Meanwhile, we make frequent trips to our local GH (DD wanted to know if they were open Memorial Day). Enjoy your day at the bakery. Everything looks wonderful, a result of all of your hard work. Thanks for brightening up my mornings with your posts.
KathEats says
Sorry, I can’t!
Mary Frances says
I guess that is why when I was trying to click on the blue highlighted name of ‘Cville Cluster’ it did not take me to the Recipage link with the recipe–thought something was wrong with my computer. Guess I’m not the only one who was hoping to get the recipe…hope it is a big seller for you! How exciting in your final countdown and being able to share it with family, friends, your wonderful staff and Great Harvest mentors. Have fun…and try to sleep so you can be 100%. LOL
Allison (Have it Your Weigh) says
Happy June! After reading so much about how good Lynda’s granola is I’m dying to try some! So excited that you’ll be selling it at your store.

I am so excited for you guys! And I totally cannot wait to come visit and finally taste all the foods you’ve been raving about! 😉
Marissa says
Wow, thanks for reminding me that today’s the first day of June! I completely forgot. Hah, isn’t it ironic that the first *real* day of summer is the first time I eat hot oats in forever? That granola looks delicious, though–I made my own super clumpy granola for the first time this weekened! SO GOOD.
Khushboo says
Sometimes breakfasts with minimal ingredients are as ( or more) satisfying than those which are totally pimped out! Pb+granola+banana+yogurt–> all my favorite foods in one bowl!
Amy says
I feel like the only person in creation who DOESN’T like granola clusters. I like my granola loose!
Super excited that it’s June, too. Good luck with your last few days!!

Annette @ EnjoyYourHealthyLife says

I like June, too! Being that we live in a state that is deprived of sun for most of the year–our winter months are so long–it is so nice to get some Vitamin D and endorphins 🙂 from it during the summer months!
I like the name “Cville Cluster.”
http://faithfulsolutions.blogspot.com/
Rachel says
Is the granola gluten-free? And will you have any other gluten-free treats? 🙂 I’m always looking for gluten-free options at new places. I think I’m coming to C’ville this weekend, I definitely want to try and come by to see the grand opening! So happy for you guys!
KathEats says
It’s not gluten-free because we use oats. We also are a wheat-based bakery, so it’s extremely difficult for us to do gluten-free recipes. I’m sorry, but I hope you’ll still stop in!
Hannah says
That looks amazing! I love dense thick mixes 🙂
Chelsea @ One Healthy Munchkin says
Darn, I wish you could share the recipe on your blog! I guess I’ll just have to come to Cville to try it. 😉
