We are in Dallas, Texas visiting my sister and Matt on their new home turf along with Matt A’s parents and sister Chelsea and my parents. We arrived late on Christmas Eve with a teething and sleepy baby but rallied the next morning for a lovely Christmas brunch followed by playtime outside in glorious warmish weather and Christmas dinner at my sister’s. Mazen lasted through the pie course and then we whisked him home to bed.

Hope you enjoyed your time in Big D! We’ve certainly had lovely weather this week. Did your relatives take you out for some good Tex-Mex? (Matt’s Ranchero in Lakewood or Mi Cocina are two favorites!) If you’re still here and have time, you’d love the Dallas Arboretum near White Rock Lake with it’s all new children’s garden.
