Want to know more about coconut butter!? I spent the morning making this information page, including a video!
[OH, and there’s an OpenSky deal going on right now where you get three sample squeeze packs if you buy a jar of coconut butter! Samples only while they last!]
Then I cleaned my house – behind the furniture! (Well…some of it!) WHERE does all this dust come from!?
Then we went for a noontime run.
5 miles
This is a reminder NOT to paint your nails in the dark while watching a movie. Sloppy joe!
Lunch was leftovers! Matt says we have to eat everything in the fridge before Thursday.
[I got the green dishtowel from Chef’s Catalog with a coupon from the Foodbuzz Festival!]
With a side of toasted bread cubes – so much more fun to eat than a bite off a slice of toast.
We have a few more errands to run and things to do. Matt’s working on researching equipment for the bakery and contractor contacts. Do you know how scary it is to buy a $20,000 oven!? We will have to do that sometime soon.
This afternoon/evening, we have a date!
Alexa @ The Girl In Chucks says
A $20,00 oven?! Yikes! I get nervous just thinking about the cost of buying a Vitamix! 😉

Love the coconut butter video! I picked up a jar at the store a few days ago but realized I didn’t know what I would do with it, and decided against it. I’m going back for it tonight!
Julie @ Honey B. Nutrition says
Oh my God I thought you were going to put the bread in to the minestrone instead of pasta! Would that be good or would that get soggy?? It’s kind of sounding good! A hearty sprouted grain bread maybe? Well yum your soup looks great. I’m making your pom chickpea etc salad for company tonight! And raw lasagna, what was I thinking?!
ambergale says
wah! the coconut butter is sold out already?? The post has only been up for 36 minutes, according to google reader!
Kath says
It shouldn’t be!!

Good call on the bread cubes! I love dipping bread in my soups but hate how it gets all over the sides of your face when you try to bite into it. Maybe I’m just a messier eater than most….

Love the coconut butter video! Now I’m really wanting to invest in some – sounds delish!
You know, watching this video got me in the spirit to watch some of your other videos (which I love – thank you!) and I watched your spaghetti squash video and you’re so young in it!! Too cute! And you seem to have more of a southern accent back then? Have you noticed a change?
Kath says
I do think I look so much younger in the earlier videos!!
I haven’t noticed a change in accent, but it wouldn’t surprise me
j says
