The most luxurious moisturizer I’ve ever used is the Beautycounter Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream. Here’s everything you need to know about this amazing night cream.
Do you have that one skincare product that you kind of freak out about if you run out?
Well, I have a few of those, actually. And one is definitely Beautycounter’s Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream. It’s the most luxurious night cream I’ve ever used as it intensely hydrates my skin while not being heavy or oily.
In fact, I’d say it’s my favorite product from the entire Countertime skincare collection (the anti-aging skincare regimen I’ve been using for more than two years).
The Countertime regimen has two different moisturizers, one for morning and one for night. The Countertime Antioxidant Soft Cream, while still hydrating, is much lighter (silky smooth!), and layers well under makeup.
The Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream is like a thick, whipped butter. As soon as you apply it, your skin instantly feels nourished. I apply it every night after my treatment serums (either the Overnight Resurfacing Peel or Radiance Serum).
Not only does it feel great, but it contains safe ingredients, like Bakuchiol and Swiss Alpine Rose, that have comparable benefits to retinol. Here’s everything you need to know about my favorite clean moisturizer.
Beautycounter Tetrapeptide Supreme Cream Review
Cost: $98
Who is it for?
Anyone with dry and/or mature skin
Looking for a lighter nighttime moisturizer? I’d recommend the Countertime Recovery Sleeping Cream or Countertime Antioxidant Soft Cream.
Key Ingredients
- Retinatural Complex: Beautycounter’s signature safer alternative to retinol: Bakuchiol has been shown to provide skincare results that are comparable to retinol—without harmful side effects such as skin irritation and increased sun sensitivity—and Swiss Alpine Rose boosts the skin’s antioxidant defense.
- Tetrapeptide: Helps increase skin elasticity, minimize the appearance of lines, boost visible firmness, and smooth skin surface.
- Fermented Sugars: Soothe skin while helping slow the visible effects of aging by optimizing hydration for renewed skin.
Supreme Cream Benefits
Supremely rich and deeply hydrating, this night cream supports elasticity and visibly firms while minimizing the look of fine lines and wrinkles (that’s what I want!).
- Provide long-lasting hydration
- Visibly increase skin firmness
- Increase skin elasticity
- Increase skin’s plumpness

How To Use A Night Cream
First cleanse face, and apply an essence and serum if desired. Then scoop a small amount of cream onto fingertips. Massage gently into face, neck, and décolletage with upward strokes. Use every night.
How Long Does Beautycounter’s Supreme Cream Last?
A little goes a long way, and given that it’s not cheap I try to use it sparingly. Each jar lasts me about 3-4 months, using it nightly. I will say that since Thomas has started using it it’s disappearing much faster! It’s our most frequently replenished product.
My Review:
With more than 3,400 five-star reviews, I’m not the only one who loves this product.
I honestly had not used a truly luxurious night cream until this one. Most of the others I had tried were much lighter, more like a day lotion. The very first time I wore this I noticed how soft my skin still felt when I woke up the next morning – a sign of a truly long-lasting hydration.
If there is just ONE anti-aging product you buy, a night cream should be it since it stays on your skin all night long. Unlike with a cleanser that you quickly rinse off, a night cream has more time for active ingredients to work since you’re away from sunlight and children smooching it off your face.
Also because it sits on your skin for so long, all the more reason to find one with the cleanest ingredients around. This one fits the bill!
