I’m not celebrating anything in particular – but these pancakes were just begging to have a reason to don their sprinkles.
Kodiak cakes mixed with 1/4 cup pumpkin and served with hot banana, chia charger, coconut and sprinkles.
Happy Sprinkle Day to you.

Simply divine. What kind of sprinkles do you use? I have bought some natural ones before, but they aren’t like these-the flat and crunchy kind. Have a wonderful Tuesday, Kath!

Thank you so much for responding so quickly!
Kelly says
I have to say, I think when it comes to thinks like sprinkles and food coloring as long as you don’t have any particular allergies, the artificial kinds often work better. I bought natural food coloring once and not only was it incredibly expensive, but the colors were so muddy and unpleasant I wished I hadn’t used it at all. I completely understand for people who have allergies or can’t tolerate certain dyes but for me it’s been all about things in moderation.
Cat @Breakfast to Bed says
I love the simple dishtowel backdrop. It looks so homey, as do the pancakes!

Anyday is a great day for pumpkin 🙂 It does not have to be Thanksgiving to eat pumpkin 🙂
Actually, I made your recipe for overnight pumpkin oats last night–this was the first time I have ever made overnight oats. I am just getting ready to bowl the oats as I speak.

I saw this article and thought it might be worthwhile to share with your readers:

I know it seems you get a lot of questions about Great Harvest from people who sound like they are interested in opening a franchise and it seemed to have a lot of thoughtful questions and points I thought they might find interesting.
Kelly says
I should also say I am no way affiliated with the magazine. I just happen to get the e-mails since I work in the food industry and thought it could be a good resource for people who are interested.
KathEats says
Thanks for sharing that Kelly!
