Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal
This apple cinnamon oatmeal is creamy and scented like an apple pie with cinnamon and vanilla! Top with walnuts and maple syrup.

- 1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup water
- Pinch of kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 an apple chopped
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Chopped walnuts and maple syrup to garnish
- Coconut oil
Add a few teaspoons of coconut oil to the bottom of a pot and sauté the apple until caramelized and soft.
Add oats, milk, water, salt, and cinnamon and turn heat to medium.
Stir frequently until oatmeal reaches desired consistency.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Portion into bowls and top with walnuts, a drizzle of maple syrup, and a light dusting of cinnamon to garnish.
